This motel is highly under-rated. The stay was as good as motels I have paid 4 times as much to stay in. When I go back to this area I will stay there again.

The hotel was quiet and very spacious, beds were comfortable and breakfast had a nice selection. The only concern was when using the shower the tub was a little slippery but other than that excellent stay for the price.

Check in was easy and we had a request to have a room with no one on either side of us. That was accommodated with no issues. Weird though, we heard tractor trailer breaks from a highway that I didn't know was near us. Not horrible, but you heard them. Though one of the towel racks and the shower rod needed a bit of attention, everything was super clean and beds were comfortable. I also liked that parking around back for a shorter walk to our room w/ luggage had a security door. Unless you had a room key, you weren't getting in. Breakfast area and choices were fabulous. Great place to stay.

The motel is in excellent condition considering how old it is. You know how there are old motels that are okay and there are old motels that are dumps? This motel created a third category for me: an old motel that is terrific. It's as well cared for and as comfortable as possible. Every staff member I encountered was a gem. My experience here far exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Came into Johnson City for our grandson's wedding. Rooms could be updated. Need to install full length mirrors. Husband killed a roach on a bath towel that was hanging up. Nasty sheets on bed and towels, stains and overall not looking too clean. Won't be staying at a Quality Inn never again.

Not the best stay
Our travel group included two couples so we reserved two rooms. Both rooms we were given were on the first floor. Our room was OK - it had a musty smell but we were willing to live with it. Our friends' room was unbearable with an odor (something beyond a musty smell, perhaps a mold or mildew issue) and she has a sensitivity to scents. The only saving part of the stay was the night manager (Lisa) who got them changed to another room. My question would be, given the obvious odor of the room and the availability of other rooms, why not give them the good room first? I'm glad that another room was available (you might be as lucky).
