The best time to visit Šegotići is typically from late spring (May) to early autumn (September), when the weather is warm and pleasant for exploring the Istrian peninsula.

May and June offer comfortable temperatures, usually ranging from 20°C to 25°C, making them ideal for outdoor activities like cycling or hiking the nearby trails. The countryside is lush and green, and the sea is warm enough for swimming towards the end of June. This period is also less crowded than the peak summer months, making it great for couples seeking a peaceful escape with opportunities for wine tasting at local vineyards or exploring charming hill towns.

July and August are the warmest months, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C. This is peak season, so the coastal areas and popular attractions will be busier. However, it's the great time for families who want to enjoy the full range of water sports, spend time at the beaches near Medulin or Pula, or simply relax by a villa's pool. Evenings are long and warm, ideal for al fresco dining.

September provides a lovely balance, with the heat of summer beginning to recede to a comfortable 22°C to 27°C. The sea remains warm for swimming, and the crowds thin significantly. This month is excellent for those who appreciate a more relaxed pace, with opportunities to enjoy the harvest season at local farms.
