But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! Great views and great location

Great spot for a weekend trip to Sedona! House was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Patio had excellent views, location was great for getting around. We did have a car so getting to and from the shuttle lots and trail heads was easier, ymmv if you don’t have one.Host promptly answered our questions when asked and had all the check in info ready in advance.Highly recommend!
