The Garden Oasis on the National Forest
Welcome to my home! Just renovated, super clean, in a quiet neighborhood 240' from the Sugarloaf trailhead, we invite you for serenity and renewal. Created by an artist (moi) and full of original art, this is a home of beauty. Enjoy the views while relaxing on the sofa, listening to the sound of running water, or book a massage with our neighbor Jacob. We offer easy trail access, fast internet, a complete kitchen, tea / coffee, a laundry area, guide books, free parking.. and peace and beauty....
However the best (and my favorite) part of the property is the 3 level terrace.... Or of course, hiking around Sugarloaf first thing in the morning. You'll be pretty much in the Natl Forest staying here. Check it out!
This is a house of healing, full of light. There are lovely outdoor sitting areas, a place to lock your bike, and lots of flowers and greenery. Roll out the door and head 240' up the street to access the National Forest and miles and miles of hiking trails. Watch the sunset from the side of Sugarloaf, and catch Sedona's amazing star show (we're a dark skies (light free) zone.
There is a separate studio on on the side of the house where Theresa lives. The 2 units are completely separate, but please be aware that there is some noise overlap between the 2 spaces.
This is a special neighborhood. A highly respected Sedona massage therapist, Jacob Massey, lives across the street. Celeste, who does Myofascia release and works on a number of famous athletes based in the PHX area lives around the corner. Both are available for private sessions; if interested, let me know, I'll send you their contact info.
There's plenty of free parking in the carport and in front of the house. As to getting around the neighborhood it's best to walk as it's all of 3 blocks.
We purposely do not have a TV. It's about you time, not distractions.
PLEASE NOTE: Vrbo's algorithm has decided there is space for 4 people to sleep in the bedroom (which I unfortunately can't change). The house sleeps 4 but not in the bedroom. There is a fold down sofa couch (full), in the living room, and a twin tri-fold mattress that can go anywhere.

We loved the location. It was a darling house so close to the sugarloaf trail and super easy access to all the Sedona sights. All the amenities we needed were provided.
The house was super convenient to hike several trails that are literally minutes away. The neighborhood was attractive and relaxed. The house was clean and comfortable.
My husband and I stayed here for a 20th anniversary trip. This listing is in the perfect location for rest and relaxation. We enjoyed the proximity to a wonderful trail in the neighborhood and it felt peaceful away from the busyness of Sedona. We had a wonderful stay.
We had an amazing stay. The property was a block from a trailhead with beautiful trails. It was close to all the restaurants and other attractions. We had a great time.
My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay. The place is convenient to trail heads and restaurants and we loved sitting in the outside areas. There is a gorgeous view from the street, although you can't see it while sitting on the patio. It's an older home, but we liked the style. The bathroom, in particular, could use updating but everything was comfortable and clean. Loved the spider plant!
The home is beautiful and invites you to stay and relax but also is located within easy reach of all the Sedona sites, yummy eateries and walking trails to enjoy!
This property was indeed everything as was promised for two people into hiking - it was ideal. We enjoyed our brief time there & we look forward to returning someday soon !
The location was great with sugar loaf trailhead only a half block away and red rock views once you step out the front door. The space and bed worked great for what my wife and I were looking for in a quick trip to Sedona with eating out for a lot of meals.
