But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! Cozy stay

Check in was a breeze and the property manager replied quickly. The bed is super comfy and the AC units kept the place at a nice, cool temp. The fire table on the porch was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the rocks catch the sunrise.
