Sedona AZ: Nestled amongst dramatic crimson towers of sandstone, Sedona, Arizona provides a stunning sanctuary for outdoor adventures and secluded retreats. Sedona Geography: Situated at the base of Mogollon Rim, a geologically dominating structure of limestone, mudstone and sandstone, Sedona is engulfed by extraordinary monoliths resembling distinctive objects that bear their name. There's Cathedral Rock, Coffee Pot, Bell and Snoopy to name a few. Coffee Pot Rock marks the tallest point in Sedona at 5600 feet, although the town itself is elevated at 4500 feet.
