Visiting Galveston for the first time and decided to stay at this hotel as it was close to all of our planned excursions. We had a problem with the shower curtain smelling VERY musty so we called the front desk for about 15 minutes with no answer. Finally had to just go down and ask for a new one which they gave us but it made us feel like the rooms weren’t being cleaned thoroughly. We also found old flower petals under the sink from a past guest. The elevators were broken all weekend so waiting for the ONE working one was frustrating for everyone. There was also a water leak in the room with the ice machine so filling up our small cooler in a puddle was gross but it dried up by the last day. I will say the view from our room was beautiful and front desk staff was helpful. Overall this hotel needs a better maintenance team FOR SURE! It’s such nice area and the views are great but lack of maintenance keeps this hotel from getting 5 stars from me.

Our room had someone in it, so they should probably update their policies in making sure a room is available, even if someone else is at fault for checking out late. Easy enough to get it fixed despite the irritation.

I absolutely loved my stay! Melvin and Carlos were so helpful getting me and my girls settled in. It’s really hard to find a nice yet safe hotel for a girls trip but I felt super safe and welcomed here! I def recommend!

The hotel was in the perfect location for our stay! Staff was super helpful and room was nice and clean. Would stay again.
