"Yes it was a great place"

"The room was better than expected, top floor, fabulous view of the beach and ocean, clean. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and a good shower. A small kitchen with dishes, utensils and other basics provided, much appreciated. Parking was plentiful and convenient. Most staff were friendly and helpful. A few things which could have been better, there was no grab bar in the tub/shower, noise can be heard from adjoining rooms when occupied. I had a very good and reasonably priced stay at Schooner Inn."

Upon arrival we weren't able to gain entry right away but the host was great with communicating to us and fixing the minor issue. Overall we will use this property location again. "The house was okay, but it was in terrible condition. Most everything was damaged to some extent. The AC on the 4th floor did not work and the room heated to 78 degrees during the heat of the day even though the AC was set on 68. And the windows were taped shut! The table on the deck was a rusted mess. The code we were given for the lock box was incorrect. The hot water did not work until it was repaired on day 2 of our stay. This property was well below the standards we expect for properties listed on VRBO. "

"Betsy was very welcoming and accommodating. Our stay was booked just days before our arrival. We had to attend a funeral. Staying in a home was better environment. Loved the quick walk to the ocean/beach. Beautiful neighborhood. I had packed my house supplies, but was pleasantly surprised at the hand soap at every sink. Toilet tissue in the bathrooms, etc. There were ample towels. "

"This home is absolutely beautiful. There was enough space for everyone in our party. When we arrived the indoor pool water and hot tub was cold. We sent a text and the problem was solved immediately. Communication was excellent. I would definitely like to book again for our next retreat. "
