The Cottage at Sea Lake Motel was a lovely surprise. The two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom are very spacious.
The Cottage was immaculately clean.
A real gem!
Conveniently located close to the Sea Lake silos and Lake Tyrrell. The rooms are tidy and spacious, with ample space to park the car.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The room was spacious and comfortable, and our family of five slept well. We did notice a small spider web above the bathroom, though it wasn’t a big issue
The sea lake hotel was just perfect and what we needed. Spent a lovely evening there chilling, having a bite to eat and watching a film on the big tv. Just what we needed. Loved the multicolour doors, the staff were kind, the room very clean and the pool great! Highly recommended as a stop off when discovering the nearby area.

A tiny little motel complex. Perfect for an overnight stay. Was warm and cosy on a very cold night. Not luxurious by any means but well cared for.
Excellent neat clean rooms. Ease of access & check in & checking out.

Hidden Gem
Not what it seemed from the outside. Looked a bit tired but we were pleasantly surprised once we had checked in via the check~in kiosk.
The room was very well presented, excellent air con and a nice cold refrigerator.
Bed was very comfortable and room was extremely quiet. We have stayed in posher hotels that didn’t have that comfort.
Would stay again.

In regard to Staff & Service, it was automated check-in and a drop the key off arrangement. I did not see a staff member but the room was clean and well-prepared so someone had done good work.
We found our room to be very comfortable and suitable as our base while we drove around and explored the Silo Art Trail , Lake Tyrell and surrounding areas. We loved “The Milky-way outdoor kitchen “- a converted shipping container-here you could have yourself a good cook/bake up, just BYO the food or purchase something quick and easy from the vending machine, then sit down and enjoy your meal at the dinning table. The outdoor fire pit looked inviting under the weeping yellow gum which is full of birds at dawn and dusk. Be mindful you are next to a main rural road used by trucks, but we soon didn’t even notice them after a while, as the rooms have better sound proofing than you’d expect 😊
Eating out options in town include the lovely restored Royal Hotel, The Juke, Skymirror Cafe/Gallery,The Bottom Cafe, and A 79 Cafe.
All worth a visit. The property owners and staff were very helpful and friendly, happy to point you in the right direction and make sure everything was to your satisfaction, we would happily stay there again 🌟🌟🌟🌟
