The Chasa Chaposch was designed with great attention to detail to offer you exceptional holidays in an original Engadin house, which has been extensively renovated and equipped with today's comfort - in the midst of nature. Enjoy the peace and comfort of an exclusive holiday home in Tarasp — with a view of the majestic castle and the impressive mountains of the Lower Engadin.

Unlike all other villages in the Lower Engadin, Tarasp is located on the right side of the Inn and comprises eleven charming districts. Thanks to the numerous mineral springs on Tarasper soil, the Vulpera fraction in particular developed from a humble farming village to one of the most important health resorts in Switzerland in the second half of the 19th century.

The large windows in the living room offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and Tarasp Castle from the cozy dining area. Nestled between sgraffito decorated houses, the house and Tarasp itself offer you a magnificent view of the castle, Lake Tarasper, the opposite village of Ftan, the main town of Scuol and the impressive mountains of Piz Pisoc, Piz Zuort as well as Piz Nair and Piz Plavna Dadora. Shopping facilities and the PostBus stop are just a ten-minute walk away. Alternatively, you can treat yourself to culinary delights from the region in a romantic pine wood setting at the 16-GaultMillau points Schlosshotel-Restaurant Chastè.

In summer, Tarasp is a paradise for hikers and bikers, ideal as a starting point for tours in and around the Swiss National Park. Vulpera is home to one of Switzerland's oldest outdoor pools and a nine-hole golf course.

In winter, groomed trails invite you to cross-country skiing, winter hiking and sledding. The children's ski lift and the ice rink on Lake Tarasper offer further winter activities. The Motta Naluns ski area on the opposite side of the valley is easily accessible by free ski bus.

The Engadin Scuol holiday region guest card is included in every booking for all guests.
