"Everything about this property was amazing. The staff was super friendly and made check in a breeze. The cabin itself was very spacious and comfy. It had everything we would need to make a basic breakfast and a minifridge for supplies for hiking. They also had an amazing restaurant attached to the property with a bar which made for an excellent way to end the night. Will definitely have to come back for another stay. "

The views from the doors and windows out to the loch opening are stunning and the sun sets out over the islands and water making every clear night magical. "Eoin met us at the drive as the cottar is tucked away. He then proceeded to give us his family background and ideas for visiting. There was a stocked kitchen complete with wine and crackers and a cozy fire crackling when we arrived. The inside is a lot bigger than pictures do it justice and we enjoyed unplugging from life for a few days. The location of the cottar is very convenient to the co op, restaurants and anywhere in the island. Honestly, it was heaven!"

"The location of the cottage in Carloway is great for exploring the island of Lewis, it’s archeological sites, many walks and hikes. There is a well stocked shop in town for anything you need. The house is cozy and peaceful looking out on the loch in front. The kitchen has good supplies for cooking.
