"Clean basic room with excellent customer service. Was able to have a king bed. Good room as we were traveling through."

"The property is obviously older and just recently taken over by new owners who are putting in the work to bring it up to a standard. They were pleasant and accommodating and had the property clean and nice, albeit dated. On Expedia, however, it is listed as a VRBO where you get the “whole house” which includes “Bedroom 1” and “Bedroom 2”. The hotel was 45 minutes out of the way for me on a 3-day trip, but I did the driving so I could better accommodate my wife and children, but it ended up being just a regular dated (but clean) hotel room. I resented the 45 minute drive out to Scipio because of the inaccurate listing. If you need to be in Scipio or nearby, its just fine an a decent value, but you won’t be getting 2 bedrooms."

"This camper was on a quiet lake and the views were beautiful. We rented a kayak for a day and it was very inexpensive. The hosts communicated very well with us and even came out to help us with how to use the generator. The camper itself was clean, but you can tell it's been sitting on the beach for awhile, because there was built up sand on the window sills and sand in sink and the shower water. No matter how much you sweep, there will always be sand and hard not to get it in your bed. Most of the screens on the windows were missing, which would have been nice to have so we could open all the windows and enjoy the lake breeze, instead of having the loud generator to turn on the air in the camper. The hot water never worked, but maybe there wasn't suppose to be hot water? I also couldn't get the back door open, but no big deal. We brought our own drinking water and food and also our own discada to cook. The grill is a shared small grill on the campground. I saw no trace of mice being in the camper. Overall, the camper was cute and meet our needs. We had a nice time."

"We had such a great time. The views were great, the camper thingy was so fun and cute. The firepit was big and amazing and we could cook on it. Everything was nice. The bathrooms were close."

"This was the perfect spot to gather our family of 15 who came from 4 different states. We ranged in age from 5 to 78 and there was always something for everyone - a nice pool, hot tub, pool table, Foosball, large kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies and plenty of bedrooms and triple bunk beds that the kids enjoyed!"

"We loved our stay at The View. The home was beautiful and so well furnished. We loved having bathrooms with every bedroom, plus a bunk room for the kids. The kitchen was roomy and well furnished. We loved the outdoor space with the deck, hot tubs, playground, grassy area, and ampitheater. The access to the lake was close and the dock was very nice. The view is a perfect name for the home, as the views are truly spectacular. Thanks for sharing your home with us."

"As expected, the tent was on a cool lake in a very remote spot. Unfortunately, the tent was definitely not the one pictured in the listing. The listing showed a round tent, and this one was a typical “house” style. It is quite windy on the lake, so be prepared to keep the tent closed up. The lake itself is hard to use, but it was a beautiful sunset. They had a bathroom trailer nearby but hauled it off at night, so we had to drive to some less than desirable accommodations up the hill. Overall, we had a unique experience, but we wouldn’t need a second night."
