"Great staff. Helped me understand the blue parking passes for if the parking lot was full. There is a small parking lot right behind the hotel, but it fills up. Room was great; quiet and clean. We had plenty of space in our room. The bed was a little too firm for my preferences, but it was ok. I liked the breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, cheese, various meats and veggies, juice, yogurt. Great location."

"Ein sehr familienfreundliches Haus mit viel Platz. Wir waren mit 6 Personen im Haus und hatten an keiner Stelle irgendeinen Engpass. Alles war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Die Lage ist abseits des Zentrum sehr schön. Mit Fahrrad und Auto lassen sich viele Attraktionen der Lüneburger Heide in kurzer Fahrzeit und auf guten Wege schnell und einfach erreichen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit unseren Enkelkindern in dem Haus. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super nett, freundlich, schnell und ohne irgendwelche Probleme. Hinweise zum Aufenthalt vor der Reise und Antworten während des Aufenthaltes waren umfassend. Wir können das Haus bestens empfehlen. Unser Dank geht an den Vermieter für den schönen Urlaub. "

"This was our third stay at Altstadt Apartments but first time in this large family apartment. It’s wonderfully bright, spacious and airy with a well equipped kitchen. It looks as good as in the photos. We would’ve liked a room number at the door to make it easier to locate our room especially when arriving late at night in the dark. The main bedroom is upstairs with a narrow stairway so that might be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues. The main bed isn’t the most comfortable and the room is a bit too warm. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay."

"Tholes Bucken is probably the nicest, cleanest and comfiest Hotel I've stayed in for years. The room aas massive, comfy and really modern. The staff were teally great (polute, friendly and efficient) and the evening meal (Duck) was amazing. If i ever find myself in the area again, i would have no hesitation booking again."
