Enjoy a breathtaking holiday at Birkeneck. Spacious 2bedroom/2bathroom apartment (sleeps 4) with free WIFI and dream views to the famous Neuschwanstein castle and surrounding mountain panorama. Beautiful modern kitchen and large balcony (plus a part of the garden) to enjoy the outdoors. Walking distance to restaurants, lake shore, village, spa and pools as well as supermarket. Bedroom 1 has a four poster bed while bedroom 2 offers two extra wide singles.

Beautiful apartment!!

The apartment was so nice and walkable to the river and town. Clean and roomy. Hard to find the office to pick up the keys. But very friendly and helpful!!

Berchtesgaden Trip

A very nice place with roomy kitchen and bathroom. The view from the house is unbelievable. Although the parking is offsite but it is only 50 ft away. It is close to the designations that we wanted to visit, including Konigsee, Ramsau, Salzbergwerk, Salzburg and Chiemsee. The weather is so mild at the end of May. We had a great time.

Lovely setting and apartment; but was not as expected

The apartment was fantastic for our family of four -- spacious, terrific kitchen, comfortable sleeping, great balcony, and a very scenic area. However, we reserved this particular apartment specifically due to its location to the lake, and we were planning this portion of our trip to include many activities at the lake, and especially our teenagers who were looking forward to beach time. When we arrived at the office to pick up the keys, I asked where the closest access to the beach is from our apartment -- and that is when we learned the lake was dry. That news was surprising, and very disappointing. I feel we should have been notified much sooner of this significant change, and a discounted rental rate would have been appropriate. In addition, we had a very hard time finding the office to get the keys -- our iPhones were not registering the office address we had been given, and for quite some time there was no answer on phones numbers we were given. That inconvenience, in addition to the lack of a lake, were very discouraging. The apartment itself was wonderful -- the disappointing lake situation, and check-in/check-out process was not.

Den Begriff "Luxus" sollte man streichen

Wohnung war okay - aber von Luxus keine Spur: es handelt sich eher um eine altbackene 3-Zimmer-Wohnung - mit nur 1 1/2 Bädern! Macht man die Tür zu Bad 2 auf, so fällt man gleich in die Kloschüssel. Der Partner kann das Bad nicht betreten, solange der Sitz besetzt ist! Und auch Schlafzimmer 2 ließ zu wünschen übrig: EINE funzelige Nachttischlampe für ZWEI Betten - da kann man abends kein Buch mehr lesen. Lage allerdings sehr gut.

Kurze Auszeit

Wir waren für eine Woche in Schwangau und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt ruhig mit schönem Blick auf SchlossNeuschwanstein . Für eine erholsame Auszeit sehr zu empfehlen.

Schönes Haus mit einigen Minuspunkten

Wir hatten die Wohnung im 1.OG. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wer Lust auf schöne Natur und ruhige Nächte hat, ist da genau richtig. Das Haus ist sauber, die Zimmer sind groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung ist auch gut. Aber vom Luxus-Haus, wie in der Anzeige genannt, darf man hier nicht sprechen. Die Anzeige enthält Angaben für alle Wohnungen zusammen. Z.B. Klimaanlage gab es bei uns keine. Und insgesamt fehlt dem Haus etwas Liebe: sehr große Balkone ohne einen einzigen Blumenkasten oder -topf, ungepflegter Garten mit mehr Moos als Rasen, Gartenbereich für die Wohnungen im 1. und 2. OG hat außer 2 Sonnenliegen und einem ungepflegten Blumenbeet aus den Vorjahren nichts mehr.

Top Lage - Wohnung mit abstrichen

Sehr gute Lage mit Blick auf Schloss Neuschwanstein - ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Region. Großzügige Ferienwohnung, ist jedoch leider in die Jahre gekommen. Kleinere Reparaturen wären notwendig.

Die Lage ist wirklich toll, wir hatten die OG Wohnung mit schöner Aussicht auf die Schlösser. Kann man wirklich empfehlen. Schade fanden wir das 120 Euro für den Kurzzeitaufenthalt in Rechnung gestellt wurden, wir hatten für 4 Tage gebucht, hatten wir in den Bedingungen nicht gelesen.

Nach kurzer Rücksprache mit der Vermieterin haben wir die richtige Fewo bekommen. Die Bilder zeigen leider alle drei Fewo im Haus. Wir hatten die mittlere Fewo und waren sehr zufrieden! Sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, viel Platz und Stauraum, super ausgestattet, super ruhige und idyllische Lage mit Blick auf Kühe auf der Weide, Berge und beide Schlösser. Gerne wieder!

Schöne, große Ferienwohnung - mit kleinen Abstrichen

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Pluspunkte sind die beiden Bäder, die großzügigen Zimmer, der Balkon, der von drei Zimmern zugänglich ist und natürlich die vorzügliche Lage mit unendlich vielen Attraktionen in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Abstriche gibt es lediglich durch Kleinigkeiten (Verkrustungen im Backofen, die eine oder andere funktionslose Glühbirne, keine Schüsseln in der Küche und stumpfe Messer (wie anscheinend in allen Ferienwohnungen dieser Welt)). Leider waren die Bilder in der FeWo-Direkt-Anzeige irreführend: Dort sind Bilder von allen drei Ferienwohnungen gemischt, so dass wir dachten, es gäbe einen direkten Zugang zu dem schönen Garten. Es stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass unsere Wohnung im 1. Stock lag. Sehr zu loben ist aber die überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Betreuung durch die Verwalterin, so dass wir uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Schönes Haus in bester Lage, super Ausblick auf Berge und Schloß!

Wir hatten die EG-Wohnung des Hauses Birkeneck, die uns insgesamt gut gefallen hat, jedoch insofern nicht der Beschreibung entsprach, als dass sich anstatt zweier Doppelschlafzimmer nur ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und lediglich eine Nische im Flur mit Ausziehcouch befunden hat. Aus der Fewo-direkt-Beschreibung inkl. Bilder geht dies nicht hervor. Es sollte kenntlich gemacht werden, dass es im Haus drei Wohnungen gibt und die Fotos mit „Fewo 1-3“ betitelt werden. Auch ließ die Ausstattung (der Küche) für „Luxus-Komfort“ noch einige Wünsche offen, die jedoch von der netten Agentur-Mitarbeiterin auf unsere Anregungen hin, tlw. bereits erfüllt wurden. Terrasse und Garten könnten etwas „wohnlicher“ bzw. ansprechender gestaltet sein. Dennoch: Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lage, die tolle Aussicht, Sauberkeit und Service waren prima! Vielen Dank!

Wohnung in toller Lage

Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen für Ausflüge in und um Schwangau. Sie war sauber und für vier Personen in der Größe ausreichend. Nach der Bewerbung im Inserat hätten wir uns allerdings ein Bisschen mehr Ausstattung (besonders in der Küche) gewünscht. Bessere Möglichkeiten den Balkon zu nutzen wären toll gewesen.
