"This was a 3 days stop over on a longer road trip. The resort is big with lots of amenities. Our stay included 4th of july so was very busy. At times was difficult to find parking and restaurant reservations were tough. One of the bedrooms had an amazing view of lake superior. Reading a book while looking out the window was a perfect combo. The lake walk was also fabulous. We didnt bring our

"I stayed in the motel at Solbakken. It is vintage - reminded me of resorts I stayed in as a child. While things inside were older, they were clean. The bed was updated and cozy. The motel portion is not next to the lake - the cabins are behind the motel, and then the lake."
