Kandahar Lodge at Whitefish Mountain Resort

"We enjoyed our stay at Kandahar. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Very cozy. One minor observation was that the carpet was in a desperate need of cleaning. Stairways and steps. Everything else was very clean. Cream carpet with that amount of traffic wouldn’t be my choice. Overall, very pleasant experience."

"The property was very clean, which is always a priority in my book! We didn’t cook there, but there was everything you could need in the kitchen to prepare a meal plus a toaster and coffee pots. The living room was very comfortable. It was too warm to use the fireplace, but the space was lovely. The bed slept great, and there were several options for bedding if you were hot or cool. The stacked washer and dryer in the bathroom are great, and detergent was available. The tub is deep and perfect for soaking after a day of walking or hiking. Be sure to go up on the roof for scenic views or to use the grill. We didn’t use the hot tub, but that’s a nice touch. Check-in and parking were easy, and the host stayed in touch with us throughout our stay. The short drive up the mountain from Kalispell has several open areas where you can get beautiful pictures. Also be sure to check out the Holbrook Overlook Trail just down the road from the property. It’s a fairly easy hike with very rewarding views. I’d definitely recommend this lodging and would stay here again!"

Newly Renovated Ski-In/Ski-Out Studio with Parking in Village

"New! Beautiful place as all updated and brand new inside. The outside not as nice. Overlooks parking lot and very noisy. Inside the walls are thin and can hear others conversations, etc. Neighbors above are loud with heavy footsteps. Doors to other condos are constantly slamming and will wake you up if noise from parking lot or neighbor above does not do it first. I booked for two weeks and was ready to leave after first night. Ok for a couple of nights if need be."

"This is one of the nicest places I've stayed. We had 14 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The large Kitchen Island with seating for 8 made it nice for visiting while cooking. The 3 ovens made it easy to feed our crowd. We hope to come back some time."

"We felt so at home and welcomed! The condo is very stylish, clean, comfortable and inviting. There are multiple subtle and thoughtful details showing Bill cares about his guests having a wonderful experience. The guides he provided at booking helped us decide where to spend our time while in Whitefish and the surrounding area. The location is beautiful right next to the ski lift. It was nice to have the peace and quite of the mountains each morning and evening with a short drive to town. We hope to visit again!"
