"This is another boutique Swiss Hotel. No air conditioning. And it was hot. They removed the bar fridge so we could not even keep some cold drinks. They claim of Eco reasons fails if you are hot and can not sleep. We could not stay in the room long so we spent more time down on the river where it was cooled. I would never book a hotel again with out air condition in the summer. And be careful of what you get from a Boutique hotel. Breakfast was limited. Wifi was a problem. They had limits on...

"We booked a double room. However, two days before our scheduled stay, we received an e-mail offering us a free upgrade to a studio, with a full kitchen. We gratefully accepted. The property was delightful, and gave us the opportunity to shop locally, and cater for ourselves. There was parking right outside the door, and the local village was delightful. Recommended without reservation."

"Bar with Men, people smoking and playing pool. Police came to ask someone to leave, as they had overstayed their welcome. Nicely remodeled. Bathroom was especially well done. Bunch of older local people were regulars. Close to falls. Impression that it was recently converted from a rooming house style place above a bar."

"This is a good place, and the lady running this place was nice. My only complaint is that it seems that all of the hotels are using the same vendors with very uncomfortable pillows and mattresses. It would help if it had AC in the room."

"Do no judge this hotel on the photos, very Outdated. Hotel is Ok but starting to look a little run down. Rooms are very compact. Staff very friendly but hotel lets it down. If your expecting to see horses, you'll be disappointed, as they have been gone for a number of years now and equipment and school not used for a long time. Food at the hotel is also very expensive even for Switzerland standards, so would recommend eating out. Parking is also limited at the hotel and on a first come basis. "

"Upon leaving the hotel, the lady on reception opened the car exhibit just for us. It was hugely kind of her and very much appreciated. The hotel itself is clearly for the purpose of convention and business but they make this clear in the marketing. Even so, it was absolutely fine for our stay and a home base for checking out northern Switzerland"
