"Really good value hotel, especially for a solo traveller. Room was a decent size and was clean, staff were very helpful. Car park was a decent size but some of the parking was atrocious so I couldn’t always get a space. Only thing I would change is having a kettle - I did miss morning teas! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hofsgrund. The apartment was very clean and cozy. Our hosts were very accommodating and answered questions about what we could do in the area. We really liked the trails that could be accessed just up the road. They offered awesome views of the town and surrounding area. An evening hike to Schauinsland is a must for a beautiful view of sunset! The baker is right nextdoor, a good restaurant a 3 minute walk across the street, and a bus stop just outside. The town and surrounding area are lovely; we would recommend a stay. "

"I highly recommend staying at this family friendly, beautiful working farm. Our apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The part we enjoyed the most, was the wrap around balcony that looked out over the land and mountains. The family was extremely warm and welcoming, and the farm is centrally located to many activities. There are also several great restaurants in the are. "

The town is cute and quiet.The apartment is close to a road that is usually quiet but does have a bus route and the occasional lorry. There are a few additional charges that I assumed were included in the price (internet, bedding, cleaning), so read the additional documents sent by the host. "
