Highlands Lodge is the perfect mountain retreat. Centrally located between three of the most popular mountain towns, you will have an endless selection of shopping and dining. As Fire Mountain is located at the top of the mountain, in the Nantahala National Forrest and surrounded by farms, you can be assured you'll be getting the freshest farm to table food. Enjoy Spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, both Sunrise & Sunset from your balconies, hiking trails, fireflies & waterfalls. Gather around our oversized rock firepit for toasting marshmallows and telling tales. Enjoy libations on our sunset deck. Plan a catered dinner in our private, mountain view dining room. Bring your racquet and hit a few rounds on our new turf tennis courts. Private Chef & Spa services available. Activities close include, snow tubing, mountain roller coaster, rock hounding, ziplining, atv tours, waterfall tours, trout fishing, live music at the Vinyard next door
