"Very remote village. The only(?) restaurant in town is the hotel restaurant. Good location to stopover and cut my drive from Geiranger back to Alesund in half. Hotel is nice. Good breakfast in the morning."

"We stayed for 2 nights in the junior suites and had a great time. The front desk gave suggestions of things to see in the area and they were spot on. Very friendly staff and in a great location if you have a car."

"This is a very nice property with a great view across a fjord. Very quiet location. The owners of the property are extremly nice and helpful. The property itself is very clean and simply a great place to stay. There are very many hikes and fishing opportunities in the neighborhood."

"We had a wonderful two weeks in Hareid - the house was wonderful, with spectacular views over the fjord. Even if we were a bit unlucky with the weather it did not matter much, because the views over the sea and mountains were always different, always spectacular, and there was tons to do: the Aquarium ..."
