Cortijo La Encina Sayalonga by Ruralidays

Holiday home near Sayalonga, province of Malaga, Andalucia.

The secluded location of this holiday home, on a hilltop near Sayalonga, ensures some relaxing holidays in the most amazing setting you can wish for. From the outdoor area, you will rejoice in the views of the surrounding hills dotted with white spots that smoothly descend into the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon. This provides a great amount of relaxation, which will help you unwind and make the most of your holidays.

The main floor, which is accessible from the outdoor via a staircase, welcomes a cosy dining-living room with a fireplace located on a stone wall, warm/cool air-con and a fully equipped open kitchen. Picturesque brick arches separate the kitchen from the living space. The three bedrooms of this floor all feature warm/cool air-con: one bedroom is provided with a double bed and two with two twin beds. The six guests that will stay on this floor also have a bathroom with a shower and a spacious bathtub at their disposal.

Downstairs, there are two other bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds, in addition to a bathroom with shower. A spacious dining-living room with a galley corner completes the layout of the ground floor; this room is also available for less than six people, whereas the two bedrooms and bathroom of this floor are open only when a group of 6+ people rents the property.

The porch of the villa welcomes a pool table, a ping-pong table and a soccer table, as well as a space for “al fresco” dining and a chill-out area. Several sun loungers are located between the porch and the fence that separates the house from the surrounding nature. Next to the porch, a fabulous private pool, which adds the exact amount of charm to the splendid setting of the villa. An outdoor toilet and a covered BBQ complete the amenities.

The access to the villa is via a 1.7-km dirt track winding through the mountains, characterised by curves and slopes.

Incredible views

We had a fantastic 8 day at this property easter 2023. The villa was immaculate well stocked and perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. Much of our time was spent just admiring the location and incredible views from various spots in the villa. It is quite a way from civilisation and requires a good vehicle capable of carrying large amounts of supplies as its not a quick nip to the local shops🤣🤣 Its a worthwhile trip thoigh for a great property at a great price

Le propriétaire est jovial, toujours le sourire, disponible et non intrusif. Nous l'avons adoré! L'entretien de la piscine est faite régulièrement, nous avons fortement apprécié. Je n'ai aucune chose négative à dire hormis la route car je suis malade en voiture.

Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel, um mit einer Gruppe von Kindern zusammen zu sein, da sich die Hauptschlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer im Obergeschoss und die Spiele im Erdgeschoss befinden, was Privatsphäre bietet. Es verfügt über mehrere Terrassen, sodass jeder seinen eigenen Entspannungsbereich finden kann. Die Aussicht ist spektakulär. Der Bereich darunter hat alles, was Sie zum Grillen brauchen. Der Weg von der Straße zum Haus sollte mit einem großen Auto befahren werden, da er in den Bergen liegt. Wir haben Tischfußball, Billard und Tischtennis genossen, im Allgemeinen hatten wir eine sehr gute Zeit. Idealer Ort zum Entspannen und Spaß haben.

Es ist ein schönes, großes, großes Haus. Ideal für mehrere Familien oder Gruppen. 2 Küchen ist auch schön. Es ist schade, dass sich der Grill nicht im Sitzbereich befindet, so dass Sie alleine stehen und auf und ab gehen müssen. Hatte viel Ärger von Wespen. Der Pool ist schön, sogar das morgendliche Angeln der Insekten ist kein Problem, der Besitzer kommt regelmäßig zur regelmäßigen Reinigung. Dazwischen kein Wäschewechsel dazwischen. Spieltische sind alle kaputt und müssen ersetzt werden. Wir haben das Haus für die Kinder dafür ausgewählt und das war leider sehr enttäuschend. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, aber weit weg von allem. Schwieriger Feldweg für den letzten Teil zum Haus, nicht geeignet für ein Auto in der Nähe der Straße. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und reagierte schnell über die App, wenn etwas nicht stimmte und löste es schnell. Kurz gesagt, hatte einen schönen Urlaub mit viel Ruhe.

Der Urlaub war sehr schön und erholsam für uns. Die Kinder und wir hatten an den vorhanden Freizeitmöglichkeiten (Billard, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker) und vor allen Dingen dem großen Pool sehr viel Spaß. Kicker, Tischtennisplatte und Billard sind zwar schon etwas älter und nicht mehr ganz in Schuss, jedoch hat uns das nicht gestört. Jeder hatte ja das gleiche Handicap :-) Die Ausstattung ist vollständig und entsprechend, jedoch an der ein oder anderen Stelle schon etwas verwohnt. Trotzdem ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis mehr als gut! Der Vermieter Juan war uns gegenüber sehr freundlich und kleinere Mängel wurden umgehend beseitigt. Der Pool wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes von Juan überprüft und auch gereinigt. Nur das Käschern am Morgen gehörte zu unseren Aufgaben, das die Kinder jedoch auch mal gerne übernommen haben. Der Vermieter Juan war insbesondere sehr liebevoll zu unseren Kindern. So wurde ein zufällig gefundenes Chamäleon zu einem tollen Event. Auch die Früchte des Gartens (Feigen, Mangos, Zitronen, Mini-Orangen etc.) durften wir ernten. Über den grandiosen Ausblick und die etwas schwierigere Zufahrt zum Haus müssen wir an dieser Stelle nichts mehr sagen. Alles in allem ein wunderschöner, erholsamer Urlaub, der einem das Gefühl der Wiederholung gibt. Hallo Juan, wir möchten uns nochmals für den tollen Urlaub und die Gastfreundschaft bedanken. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben uns alle sehr erholt. Schade, dass der Urlaub schon zu Ende ist.

Über die tolle Aussicht und den abenteuerlichen Zufahrtsweg (1,7Km) wurde ja bereits geschrieben. Leider können wir trotz freundlichem Besitzer, die teils sehr guten Resonanzen so nicht bestätigen: Bei der Ankunft war der Pool nicht gereinigt. Von 4 Stühlen auf der oberen Terrasse waren 2 nicht mehr verwendbar. Die Pfannen in der Küche unbrauchbar, teils angerostet, auf Nachfrage 3 Pfannen plus Glaskasserolle nachgeliefert. Der in der Beschreibung genannte Wasserfall gibt es wohl schon lang nicht mehr (von Efeu überwuchert) war für uns allerdings kein Problem. Die in der Beschreibung genannten Spielgeräte: Tischtennisplatte auf einer Seite Blasenbelag. Von 5 Schlägern 4 nicht brauchbar (auf Nachfrage wurden 2 Schläger nachgeliefert.) Der Kicker unbrauchbar: Belag aufgequollen. Poolbillard für uns Hauptargument für die Buchung: Von 5 Billardqueues einer gebrochen, 3 ohne Aufstecker (Pommeranze), 2 mit Plastikkappe, teils gebrochen. Bezug teils mit Löchern. Oberer Rand des Tisches teils lose. Die Auflagen der Sonnenliegen und die Matratzen der Betten müssten dringend ausgetauscht werden. Grill nicht verwendbar, da Grillrost komplett verrostet! Die meisten dieser Kritikpunkte wären unnötig und könnten mit einer überschaubaren Investition in Ordnung gebracht werden.

Mooie vrijstaande Villa met zwembad, balkon en een magnifiek uitzicht over zee en Bergen. Veel ruimte (incl. poolbiljart, tafeltennis) en 100% privacy. Genieten van het leven in de Bergen. Prachtige witte dorpjes in een ruig landschap. Het toerisme is zeker een half uur rijden verwijderd. Auto is een must en als je door de Bergen wil rijden een stevige auto, hoewel het huis met een kleine auto ook goed bereikbaar is (2 km onverhard). Wij hebben een prachtige vakantie gehad.

Enjoyed a lovely stay here with the whole family. The house is set in the mountains with a sea view, so peaceful and relaxing. The villa is of the beaten track a little and a car is definitely needed - we had fun going to the Spanish supermarket in Algarobbo and stocking up - the food and wine was cheap and very good too!! Will definitely book here again.
