"La Villa est magnifique, beaucoup plus belle en vrai qu’en photo ( même si elle était déjà très belle) la déco est très belle , la ville est placée en face de la mer , une vue exceptionnelle et inoubliable. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire qui a été très indulgent avec nous par rapport à la langue car nous ne parlions ni anglais , ni espagnol. "Lovely home steps away from a serene beach, open to incredible views in all directions, morning though evening. Terrific location within 2 hours of many ruins, cenotes, and an easy drive to Progreso or Merida for meals out. Being about 20 km out of Progreso added to the serenity of the setting - it was easy to spend days just at the home to soak it all in. Juan was a delight to work with and so very helpful in ensuring our stay was comfortable and giving us tips on where to explore. Hope to...

"Air conditioning was awful. The rooms would turn off and the living room didn’t have it. The kitchen is just set up as a decoration. You can’t even use it. You have to use the back up kitchen they told us we broke a couple little arrangements which we never did. They just wanted to keep our deposit? I’ve been trying to call them back for the deposit and now they’re not responding back to me, really bad communication very upset "

"A nice new place to stay in Telchac. Very local Mexican little town. Great clean beach nearby. The pool in this hotel was dirty with sunscreen floating Too bad because the rest of the hotel is really nice, quaint, beautiful decor and very clean . They have bkfast , basic , but no bar or other meals..staff is super nice . ."

"We enjoyed our time at the house. It was comfortable and just steps from the beach. The porch facing the beach is covered and really big. It catches the breeze most of the day. It is a wonderful place to eat breakfast. The bedrooms are large and the beds were comfortable for us. We like a little firmer mattress so it suited us perfectly. It was great to have a/c in the bedroom but we only had to use it one night as the breeze kept us cool enough. I can imagine in the summer the a/c would be needed. It has grown up quite a bit around the house. The place next door was very busy on the weekend but it still didn’t feel too crowded only louder than during the week. Just know that there are houses apartments and small resorts around the property. There are not money changers everywhere like around Cancun area so stop in Merida at an atm before you come down to the area. Most places we went preferred pesos. Violet was very helpful and responsive to our questions. She recommended places close by that could be visited. We loved seeing all the different birds fishing just outside the house and spent quite a bit of time walking the beach. It would be nice to have a few books in the house to change out with the ones we brought. We went to several places close by looking for books but couldn’t find any. We left all our books so maybe that can be the start of a small book exchange library in the house. Overall, we had a great week!. Thank you for sharing your home!"

"The experience with staff and facilities was very good overall. The front desk and restaurant employees were excellent. The resort is very quiet and one might feel as if you have the place almost to yourself. There was a couple of downsides, that one might expect. You are in the jungle and there may very well be bugs (read spiders). They assured us that none are harmful. The bathrooms somehow are aging worse than the rest of the rooms. They should not have painted the showers etc as this has led to mold, at least in our case. All that said, for the price, the hotel is excellent, in general. We thank the staff for their kind attention during our stay."
