Your Savannah House: Picturesque Inside and Out! Walk to Everything

If you've been dreaming of that perfect Savannah brick town house in the middle of the world famous Historic District with private outdoor space and beautiful furnishings.... look no further! "Pierpont House" has it all.

Your group will be able to walk to all the downtown Savannah, Georgia tourist destinations from this home. This 3 story historic house has 4 spacious bedrooms each with a King size bed. The main floor has a living room, powder room, kitchen and dining room leading to a perfect walled private courtyard with ample seating for your group to relax. The 2nd floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom, the 3rd floor has the third and fourth bedrooms and another full bathroom.

This home was originally built and owned in 1856 by James Pierpont who is famous for writing "Jingle Bells".
This is a 3 story historic townhouse (no elevator) so please be aware this is not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
Parking is free on the street and no decal/permit is required in this area. Sorry but pets are not allowed at this home and smoking of any type is not permitted.

What to expect when booking: We are an "integrated partner" with VRBO/Expedia/HomeAway. Your credit card will show the rent/tax/cleaning portion of your charges under our company name because Integrated Partners are required to be the Merchant Of Record per VRBO terms of service. Only your "service fee" charged by VRBO will show on your credit card statement as a charge from that company and rest shows separately as a charge from our local Savannah GA company. Please be sure anyone who oversees your credit card statement is aware of this to avoid any confusion. Great house with good common space and a cute outdoor patio, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. The 4 king beds were comfortable. We were able to walk to surrounding restaurants and River Street. Would definitely stay again!!

Wonderful House!

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The location was quiet and close to everything we wanted to visit. The rooms are beautiful and it’s decorated so tastefully— we felt right at home immediately. Full of everything we could need from a well appointed kitchen to extra towels and toiletries, instructions were clear and it was all super easy. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at a great location in Savannah!

Lovely Home in Savannah

We really enjoyed our girlfriend week at this lovely home. It looked just like it did in the photos and was nicely appointed with towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea amenities. It's an old home with squeaky floors...but we didn't see any ghosts. There was a nice outdoor patio and seating too. It was nicely located and we walked everywhere and felt safe. Would stay there again for sure!

Wonderful home in a great location

Overall a great property to stay in when visiting Savannah. Not too far off the beaten path, but off of a quiet square (Taylor) in a quaint neighborhood with plenty of beautiful old homes that make you think of Savannah. The manager was great to work with and helped us out in a big way when she didn't have to. The house, while older, was very nice and had all of the modern conveniences that a family could want. Very close to all of the major sightseeing places, and an easy walk to most areas of interest. Overall no complaints at all

The house had everything we could possibly need. It is a beautiful historic home in the historic district. We easily walked to everything. Fun weekend getaway!

This property was perfect for our group of 8 women…Lovely and very comfortable. The house is just as described, and truly ideal for 8 friends to get together and reconnect. The location is ideal, with many restaurants and sights to see within walking distance. Property manager was very quick to respond with a new coffee pot when needed. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Home

We were a group of five friends all celebrating a milestone birthday. The house is perfectly located and walkable to nearly any attraction. We cooked in half the time and the host was prompt with any questions we had. The bedrooms are graciously sized and the general living space is conducive to groups spending time together. Longtime coming!

What a beautiful place!! We wanted a place for sisters and cousins to enjoy getting together after almost 10 years and this place was the perfect retreat! So Spacious and tastefully decorated with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a few meals together in comfort. The location within the historic district made it so easy to enjoy all the beautiful parks, architecture and dining. Would love to come back again and recommend to those searching for the perfect choice!

Manager was so easy to work with and able to accommodate a special request. The home was clean, well-appointed, kitchen was well stocked with tools for our meals prepared there, linens were clean and beds very comfy. Amazing location for walking to everything we wanted. 29th trip for our girls trip and best stay ever

Our group is made up of four women in our 60's who are took their 29th annual trip together and this year chose Savannah and this wonderful home. We were comfortable each having our own room - each equally sized with king beds and fabulous mattresses and bedding. Two of the rooms are on the second floor and two on the third, with a shared bathroom on each floor.The decor was lovely and created a warm and inviting home. We loved the kitchen and lusted after the backyard setting - it was too chilly when we went to enjoy sitting out there, but we will be back!The location is perfect. We opted not to have a car and to walk and use the hop on/hop off bus (stop was one block away) and car share when needed.We would highly recommend this wonderful home.

Wonderful and charming!!

Very clean and so charming! We loved all the thoughtful details on the main level for entertaining family! Great kitchen and patio! All the bedrooms were clean, comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms! The only suggestions I would make is for the main primary bedroom to have curtains between nook and bathroom. More privacy for guests!! There was a few times we had to be extra cautious not to walk back to the nook area when someone was in the shower! The glass doors you could see it all! Also no where to hang clothing in the primary bedroom. The bed is a “canopy style” frame. Appears that past guests were hanging their clothes on the canopy because of lack of closet space. (Bed frame was sloped) Could easily be remedied by removing the tv console cabinet in nook and put a little clothing rack to hang clothes. Overall a great home and excellent location!
