King size bed in loft with lounge area, terrace and bathroom with shower. Queen bed on main level, bathroom with shower/tub. Quaint, original kitchen with updated appliances. Perfect for bride to be!.....Stairs are original to home, smaller than today s standards. ***Please note, not suited for guests with physical limitations.

Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. In 1913, a previous owner tripped over the second floor banister, fractured his hip, and suffered a concussion, dying three days later. The location was perfect. It was close to the free bus transportation which was an unexpected plus! Owner was very responsive and helped us adjust the hours of our stay to accommodate our schedule. Highly recommend!

Wonderful cottage

Enjoyable Stay

We had a great long weekend in Savannah. We loved the cottage and location. So pretty and comfortable. The upstairs bathroom is a little small but that is what it is when you stay in beautiful old cottage. The host was great. Thank you!

Girls Getaway

Perfect place for 3 of us from Milwaukee, Duluth and Jersey. Outdoor patio great for morning coffee and evening wine. Easy to walk everywhere. Felt comfortable and safe. Beds very comfortable. Definitely would stay here again.

Calm Haven in Savannah

Holly’s cottage was a wonderful place to stay in Savannah. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions and her backyard was a serene setting to relax after a full day of walking the city. Her cottage was very clean and is stocked with everything you could ever need. Thanks for making our first trip to Savannah amazing.

4th of July

Property was exactly as described. Great location with easy access around Savannah. Despite the typical July heat and humidity we were able to walk everywhere and take in the sights. Host and overall experience were great and would absolutely stay again.

Serene Savannah Surroundings

This property is in a perfect location on a quiet street in the downtown historical district with ample parking. We walked everywhere in the downtown area without a problem. The house was very cute and comfortable. We loved the back patio. It was a perfect place to hang out to enjoy the fresh air. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back to this property the next time we are in Savannah.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient

My husband and I came with our 17 year old daughter and our 3 year old mini-dachshund. We walked to Forsyth Park every morning and evening. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, parking was convenient. We brought our own breakfast items and really enjoyed having the kitchen. Thank you, Holly, for a great stay!

Savannah getaway for mother and daughter

My daughter and I booked this trip months ago. The day before we were going we heard that Hurricane Helene was set to hit Florida. We decided to catch an earlier flight that day so we would still be able to go. Holly accommodated our request for early check in and even left us candles and flash lights. This cottage is beautiful and perfect location! We loved it! Highly recommend!

Great place for a 3 day girls’ getaway!

Place is exactly as described! The only hiccup was the really spotty and weak internet since I did have some work to do. Otherwise the location is great…we walked everywhere then took a Lyft back at night. We didn’t use the kitchen at all except for our morning coffee of which there were plenty of options. It was nice having two bathrooms with 3 of us getting ready.

Pet friendly

It was clean and in a cute neighborhood. It was raining so not sure how the walk would be to town but seemed fairly close. The the kitchen is not the most functional but we only stayed one night so it was ok for us. I would have given a better rating but the overall cost was pretty high. However I chose this place because it was pet friendly.

Very Charming

Owner is very welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful. Property is absolutely adorable with great location and easy parking situation. Only drawback, is if you like to sleep in, you won’t be able to do that in the loft upstairs because of all the light coming through the skylights. But the natural light is beautiful in the space. I recommend bringing a sleep mask if you have one. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Holly - we had a lovely time!

Location was Excellent

My husband and I wanted to take his 81 year old mom to Savannah as it has always been a city she wanted to see. Holly’s Cottage was perfect for us. Mom had the bedroom downstairs and we slept in the loft. The cottage was very clean, well appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved having our morning coffee in the living room to map out our days. The location was perfect to walk the city and see all the parks & squares. Cottage was easy to find- right off the freeway and street parking was easy. We found a spot right in front of the cottage. We had a fabulous time and so did mom. We will definitely be coming back.

Brother Sister Trip

What a great home! Can’t say enough about the decor. I don’t know the style but it certainly had artistic flair and we loved it! It was conveniently located and we walked everywhere. Ahhh, the parks in Savannah were spectacular and beautiful architecture everywhere. The SCAD museum was close and wonderful restaurants nearby. The backyard outdoor space was perfect and secluded. A great place to relax and read and get a great nights sleep. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer in this wonderful gem. I highly recommend this home and hopefully will be back soon. Thank you for hosting this beautiful home!

Fantastic location

We were visiting our SCAD student daughter for her birthday. She and her friends enjoyed coming over and hanging with us and the dogs on the patio. All of the kids were missing their dogs, so we were glad we were able to bring them. Everything was exactly as described and pictured, and everything we needed was there. Parking was easy-on the street right in front. Holly responded to questions very promptly. Wifi was a little slow, and Verizon wasn’t strong there. But we were not working so that was very minor, we will not hesitate to stay again.

Quaint Neighborhood

The cottage was in the Historic District of Savannah, GA. The cottage was well-kept, clean and fully stocked. We rarely moved our car from the parking spot in front of house because we could walk to downtown Savannah. Savannah also has 2 DOT buses that are free to take you wherever you want to go in Savannah. We didn’t get to every place we wanted to go . Too much to do & not enough time. We definitely want to come back and would love to stay again in this cottage.
