Hotel is perfect location for walking downtown Savannah and River Street. Complimentary breakfast was good. Parking garage next to hotel is somewhat convenient rather than $45 valet…checked into room and there was food from previous person left in the fridge in a to-go container. Who knows what else wasn’t cleaned properly. Next morning I tried to go to the pool and the room key wouldn’t work. There was a line of people waiting for maintenance to open the door and after 30 minutes I gave up. I booked this hotel to enjoy the rooftop pool and hot tub and we couldn’t even use it. Unfortunately, I will not return to this hotel for my next trip. Customer service needs some adjusting.

Homeless encampment in the historic district. Don't need an alarm clock, as a result of all the traffic noise in the early morning hours! Car parking at the entrance is confusing as there is a large do not enter sign?????

Booked through Expedia and quoted one rate, then billed at hotel a higher rate - being given the runaround as told by hotel I needed to address with Expedia and told by Expedia I needed to address at hotel. In addition, hotel room was small and tired for the price. Although very helpful concierge and good walkable location. Would not return as there are many other options.

Its an overall decent property, but for the pice, they can offer much more. Location is great; right across from the river. It's right next to Reynold's Square and the Olde Pink House Restaurant. One can easily walk to all 22 squares in the historic district. The room I stayed was just a usual Holiday Inn room; nothing exceptional. It was clean enough. The cleaning people didn't clean our room after the first night, so we came back after a long day of touring to a room was was not made up. We told the front desk and we were told that room cleaning was every other day. We weren't told this when we checked in. They did however send someone to clean the room when we told them that we wanted our room made. Breakfast was nothing to write home about; I'd give it 5 out of 10. One of two elevators didn't work, which made for a long wait in the mornings and evenings. The one that worked made a rattling noise like it was going to drop down. The Breakfast ladies and front desk were always nice. For $315 a night, I expected more. Would I stay again, probably yes, but that's due to the location .

It was my second time using a Holiday Express and both times in Buffalo and this time Savannah were excellent.The staff is wonderful, the comfort is great, shower good, mattress great. Breakfast selection wonderful. I will go back for sure

Loved all the brkfst options! The concierge everyday was so helpful! Never really figured out how houskeeping worked. We asked the front desk after 3 days because no one came to our room. It was very inconsistent!

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff at check in were very helpful. Mark, the concierge, was amazing. He arranged all of our trips with patience and had several fun suggestions. Only drawback was the housekeeping, it took them a great deal of time to straighten the room and we had to ask for clean towels and paper products. Disappointing! All and all a great stay.

Long story, I went through the IGH app and it said you had no rooms. I went to Expedia and found a room that the your app said was sold out.so I got it thru Expedia . Because I used Expedia to get the room I was not allowed to get the points for it, thats what the front desk clerk said. Just kinda disappointed.

Was not allowed to display my mobile device apps to the room television using wifi. This forced me to use the the tv provided that was not connected to the room wifi. With that in mind, the channel choices were limited and not ad free.

The front desk folks and concierge were super friendly. The only negative is that housekeeping was never done in a timely manner and people are waiting outside their rooms to get their rooms cleaned.

The hotel staff was excellent and extremely helpful. The room we were in was a bit dated and could use some love. We struggled to get items needed for our room (toilet paper, coffee, towels, etc.) as room service did not come so we kept having to bug the front desk. Our TV remote was also missing from the room so we could not use that. We loved the location and the pool/hottub and paired with the staff, it made the hotel worth it.

No need to waste your money on a rental car. Location is great and within walking distance to all Savannah's downtown area. I requested the 8th floor which provided a GREAT view. Staff was excellent!
