Guests looking for a truly local experience will fall in love with Blue on Broughton's historic charm. Nestled in the up-and-coming, East end of Broughton Street, this two-bedroom house built in 1862 is adorned with cast iron details and blue-painted clapboard siding. Inside, a beautifully appointed vacation rental with all the modern amenities expected to make your stay comfortable.

The first floor boasts a converted parlor room with Queen bed, and an adjacent living room. These guests can use the nearby half bath, making getting ready a breeze. A full kitchen, equipped with every essential you'd need for a home-cooked meal, is just around the corner and has ample storage space for extended stays. A washer/dryer are also inside the home - great for young families!

Upstairs, find two bedrooms with two full baths. The first bedroom features a King size bed, with the second bedroom furnished with a Queen. Both bedrooms have their own dressers, flat screen TVs, and en suite baths.

Park your car in the private lot behind the home and explore Savannah by foot for the remainder of your stay. Fun time visiting family

Was great for visiting and sharing time with family. Sleeps six but needs more coffee cups and dishes. Great location for walking to restaurants. Traffic noise added to the excitement of being in the city.

Beautiful Home to Stay in Savannah

I travelled with a group of 5. The home was perfect for us, with parking (warning the drive in/out of the back parking area is pretty tight, we had a 4 door jeep wrangler for size comparison), and just enough space we didn't feel on top of each other. Location was super convenient and we could walk most places. I would definitely recommend staying here

Savannah Stay

They area was wonderful. Restaurants within walking distance. We found a wonderful Italian restaurant 800 feet away also the cafe down the street 400 feet from the house was wonderful. Parking is tight. We found it better to back in (need to watch out for the black poles) I would recommend management doing few upgrades kitchen and bathroom out dated. The vanities are from the 80's with only be 30 inch high instead of todays standard of kitchen height- also kitchen needs updated countertops are tiled(so outdated) and cabinets need fixing. However everything was overall fine. Could be a real cute getting way with a few updates

Comfortable and Clean

Very nice home and very comfortable beds. My only suggestion is that you should bring a sleep mask if you need a dark room to sleep in. The flood lights pour through every window in the house and the venetian blinds are just not significant enough for nlock.it out.

Our stay at the blue house

The blue house is beautifully decorated and having 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths for filled our ladies of 4 perfectly. I did discover as I was packing my toiletries under the lavatory in the master suite, there was a water leak under the sink. It would have been nice if we had a chair in the bedroom, to sit and put shoes on. There was traffic noise, but that is to be expected on a main thoroughfare. There could have been a shelve or chest in the bathrooms to give more space for toiletries. Overall, we had an excellent time in Savannah and thank you.

Extended weekend trip

The property was as described. As expected in the historic area, it is an older house but well maintained and equipped with all the essentials. Check-in was straight forward and communication was good. We received a phone call immediately after booking and again prior to arrival with instructions about access and use of the app. As others have noted parking is a little tricky to negotiate but in the end we discovered that backing in was the trick. The house is located at the end of a busy strip but manages to be a block or two away from where the crowds and shops begin. We only noticed a little traffic noise in the front bedrooms on Saturday night but otherwise fine. There is a fantastic coffee shop a block away (912 Brew) and the location is easily walkable to the River Street area, many restaurants, shops and Leopold's ice cream. The City Market and Forsyth Park are a bit further but also walkable, if so inclined. Our group of 5 had plenty of space and would return without question.

Accurate Photos, clean, well appointed and in a safe central area. All 5 in our group were extremely satisfied with our 4 evening stay and would come back in a heartbeat. For the area the pricing was fair and we felt super safe. Never needed a car to enjoy all that the city offered. EZ check in! We would highly recommend. Do keep in mind that you will hear some road noise but understand where you are

Perfect place to say within walking distance to so many things!!

Reviewer Comments: Our daughter was participating in an event at the Savannah convention center and we chose Blue on Broughton for our family of 5 to stay while there. It was a convenient walk to so many things in the Historic District. We took the ferry a couple of times to and from the convention center with an easy walk back to the rental. Our stay was great and we enjoyed our time at the Blue on Broughton and we would definitely choose to stay there again if we come back to Savannah. Booking, Check-in & Check-out were all a breeze too. We didn't have to contact Lucky Savannah while we were there but I feel confident they would have taken care of things quickly if we had.

Charming with Good Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friends and I came to Savannah for a little friend getaway. We had a great time and the location of Bright Savannah was very good. Very easy to walk to the river and to the main shopping and dining areas. When we arrived (after 10:00 pm) we had a few challenges but Lucky Savannah (the management company) was extremely accessible and responsive. They are great to work with! A few experiences with the house that are good to know. Savannah is a colonial town so the homes in the historic district are, let’s face it, old. That’s part of the charm. Blue Brighton is well maintained (and very clean!!) but the windows don’t provide much of a sound barrier to the street, so you can easily hear cars and people talking. The only other note is the bedroom on the main floor has a window facing the back “courtyard” (driveway). There is a street lamp in the back alley that, at night, shines into the room. While there are curtains on the window the light still comes through. Not a problem, but worth the awareness if you have light sensitivities. Overall we had a fantastic weekend, the house worked out really well for us and Lucky Savannah was great to work with. We’d recommend the house and renting from this management company again!

BLUE ON BROUGHTON

The Kitchen is a galley so keep that in mind and the stairs are very very narrow to the upstairs. The kitchen is not stocked but does have essentials for coffee making as it is a drip coffee maker. Had no teaspoons which I thought was unique in silverware drawer. Would be nice to have a more updated coffeemachine to use Kpods,etc instead of having to make a whole pot of coffee. The counter tops in kitchen are easy to get dirty with tile tops that are unique and not smooth but grouted~~ a bit odd counter tops.

We enjoyed our stay! It was very clean and cozy. Beds were comfy. Location was great. We had one issue, was able to get ahold of someone right away and they instructed us what to do! The private parking although tight was a huge bonus especially in Savannah. Definitely would stay there again.

Close to the river to take daily walks and being on Broughton let us enjoy the unique shops and restaurants. The Pirate House was a block away and had great food and service, we had our first fried green tomatoes there, fantastic. Private parking was an attraction to the place, very tight though, be prepared to use your cameras to avoid the posts. Great for four people. The adult comedy trolley tour is a must. Overall, every single person that we encountered, local or visitor, was enjoyable to talk with and share a story.

This was our first trip to Savannah (a friend's wedding). We were all thoroughly impressed with the town, the location, the house, the food, everything. I never thought I would have liked it so much. My only critique - better yet, a suggestion, is to have darker curtains in the bedrooms. For people traveling from the West Coast, the time change is a little rough. We all felt that we would have slept better if there were blackout curtains in the room.
