What to know first: the apartment is up one flight of stairs. The building entrance, courtyard, wraparound porch and laundry room are shared with other guests. Parking is metered street parking. No pets. Self check-in with a smart lock.
The Space:
A renovated 1800s building with century old hardwood floors, tall windows and wraparound porches. The apartment is on the second floor, up one flight of stairs.
Living room: A teal sofa, an armchair, a fireplace mantel, a TV, and a shelf of books and board games. Double doors open from the main bedroom into the living room.
Main bedroom: A king bed with a bench at the foot, a ceiling fan, a TV mounted above a black fireplace mantel, and a door out to the wraparound porch.
Second bedroom: Two queen beds, a ceiling fan, wall sconces, a TV and a fireplace mantel. It is a few steps from the bathroom.
Bathroom: One bathroom with a vanity, a toilet and a glass enclosed shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided, and there is a hair dryer.
Kitchen: Full kitchen with a stainless refrigerator and freezer, electric range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee machine, toaster, blender, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses. The dining nook beside the kitchen has a round table with four chairs.
Outdoors: A private balcony off the kitchen with two folding chairs and a small table, and a wraparound porch, shared with other guests, with Adirondack chairs and a small mosaic table. The courtyard garden is also shared with other guests.
Comfort: Heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, an iron, hangers, towels and cotton bed linens. We stock starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and laundry detergent.
Laundry: A free washer and dryer in the laundry room on the third floor of the building. It is shared with the other units.

Guest Access:
Guests have the apartment, the private kitchen balcony, the shared wraparound porch, the shared courtyard, the shared laundry room, and metered street parking across from the building. The check-in guide in the Guest App has the details.
The apartment is in a building that houses other guests, much like an inn. Please treat the shared spaces with care and keep noise down between 8 PM and 8 AM. Events must be cleared and coordinated with us in advance.
Exterior security cameras watch the front entrance, the courtyard and the hallway that leads to the courtyard. Please do not block them.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is in the heart of downtown Savannah's Historic District. River Street is about a 10 minute walk, and City Market is a short walk too. Forsyth Park is about a 15 minute walk or a short drive.
Convenience and grocery stores are a few minutes on foot, along with cafes, bars and restaurants. 700 Drayton and Crystal Beer Parlor are a short walk or Uber ride away. Walk through the squares to browse local shops, grab a coffee or sit on a bench.
You do not need a car here. Once you book, we send recommendations on what to do, see, eat and drink in Savannah.
Getting Around:
Walking is the best way to see downtown. Uber and taxis are quick and inexpensive to all of the downtown attractions. The free DOT trolley stops a couple of blocks away and runs about every fifteen minutes to the Historic District.
If you drive, park in one of the metered street spaces and walk from there. Please read the posted meter signs for hours. You can also buy a city parking pass at the visitor center.
Street sweeping signs are posted along the road with the sweeping times. Move your car to a street that is not being swept that day to avoid a ticket.
Other Things to Note:
Stairs: one flight of stairs to the apartment. The building entrance, courtyard, wraparound porch and laundry room are shared with other guests.
Noise: You may hear city sounds such as light traffic, emergency vehicles, trash collection and street sweeping, and other guests coming and going in the building.
House rules in short: 6 guests maximum. Minimum age to book is 21. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 10 AM. Smoking is allowed outside only, in designated spots. No pets. Service animals are welcome under ADA rules and cannot be left alone in the apartment. Events must be cleared and coordinated with us first. Quiet hours are 8 PM to 8 AM. Please leave your shoes at the door.

Interaction with Guests:
We live close by and are available day and night through the app or by phone.
Check-in is self check-in with a smart lock. Your door code and instructions are sent through the app by 3 PM on the day you arrive, and we ask that you wait until check-in time to enter. The check-in guide has step by step instructions for getting into the building and the apartment.
