"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Laura’s cozy lakeside cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by Laura and her sweet dog, Gus—they were fantastic hosts who made sure everything was just right. The cottage was exactly as advertised: charming, spotless, and perfectly situated right on a serene, peaceful lake. Waking up to the water each morning and enjoying quiet evenings by the shore made for the ideal fall escape.This was the perfect getaway for two—relaxing, beautiful, and incredibly comfortable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat. Thank you, Laura (and Gus!), for a truly memorable stay!"

"I stayed here with my mom, and it was a fun experience. We loved the animals the sheep, goats, and alpacas. The lounge area was nice too. Our dome was very cool, the beds comfortable, it was a bit cool in there to walk around but we were warm at night. The only negative was the housekeeping could have been better."

"Great house in a great location. We were greeted by loons calling when we arrived, and the proximity to the lake was a huge plus for us. It was a really quiet and peaceful spot, with great stars at night. Great hiking nearby. Close to Camden and Rockland and Rockport, and we loved the Hope General Store too. "

"The house was so beautiful and relaxing and right on the lake. The dock + provided boats/SUP were amazing. Sauna was also an excellent perk, even in summer. It’s close to lots of cute towns (everything closes early so plan ahead). There are lots of bugs (mosquitoes + spiders+ black flys) and can get a little hot because there is no A/C. But none of that ultimately is a deal breaker because it is so lovely."
