Get away from it all in the lush woodland paradise of North Georgia at this dog-friendly mountain cabin. Take postcard-worthy hikes in the surrounding woods, shop in the Bavarian-inspired village of nearby Helen, then come home for supreme relaxation in a private hot tub, or a jetted tub for two, and enjoy festive barbecues on its sweeping screened-in porch.
Perfect for rest and relaxation, but also adventure and excitement, the secluded location offers the best of both worlds. Swim, paddle, fish, and more in the Chattahoochee River, hike up to Anna Ruby Falls, or simply spend some quality time inside this cozy Sautee Nacoochee cabin snuggled up with the one you love.
Inside you'll find spacious rooms of rustic pine walls, floors, and vaulted ceilings, but also modern updates to keep you comfortable.
Spend an afternoon indoors with a favorite cable TV show, or update social media with pictures of your day's adventures using the WiFi. On chilly days, throw a few logs in the fireplace and strike up a fire to quickly warm the interior.
Whip up homemade meals in a jiffy thanks to appliances, ample countertops, and a variety of cooking accoutrements in the open concept kitchen.
Enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner at the two-seat table, or take your meal onto the screened-in porch for nature views while you savor your fresh-cooked creation. If the weather calls for it, fire up the porch's gas grill and throw on some mouth-watering steaks.
Sore muscles from a hike are no match for the luxurious hot tub's swirling waters or the high-powered jets of the indoor soaking tub, so wind down a day of adventures with a dip in either one. Then, retreat to the lavish king-size bed where you can flip on the bedside reading lamp and curl up with a good book before peacefully drifting off to sleep.
For just a small nightly fee, up to two of your dogs could even come along to join in your adventures.
Though it's likely you've arrived to get away from the big city bustle, Atlanta isn't too far away (less than 90 miles) and offers plenty of eclectic shopping, dining, and numerous cultural attractions. If you're visiting in the fall, make sure to check out Helen's Oktoberfest, a traditional celebration of German culture - and delicious beer and brats!
What are you waiting for? Plan a romantic getaway and surprise your loved one with an unforgettable trip to this classic cabin!
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

This cabin is really cute and clean. Perfect for our mom/dad getaway weekend. The screened in porch with the hot tub was our favorite part. Parking was a little of a maneuver in our full sized truck but doable. We hope to return in the future!
The cabin was just what we needed to revitalize and regroup. It was very peaceful and quiet. Just the right size for us. Peaceful and beautiful ❤️❤️ will be returning.
The cabin was neat, very clean, and private. I loved the hot tub in the screened in porch. Check in was not easy because I had to call and have the lock combination changed. The real problem was the lack of heat. The outside temperature got down to 24 degrees. The cabin only had a tiny hotel style heating unit that was unable to keep up so it was freezing when I woke up in the morning. The beautiful vaulted ceilings kept all of the hot air far above the living space.

Great Cabin
The cabin was very roomy and clean, and had a fire in the fireplace. The cabin is pet friendly. Great location about 6 miles to Helen. The tree leafs were starting to change colors.

March 2024 Stay
Opened the cabin doors to a clean smelling and looking area. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the studio layout of the place. All of the amenities were fresh and the overall atmosphere of the cabin was super comfortable and clean which made our stay very relaxing. I am very content with our experience at the Angler cabin and would definitely stay again!

Nice place
Comfortable and quiet. All fixtures worked without issue. Parking area is small and next to a steep drop so be careful with large vehicles

The location was perfect. It was like only my baby and I were the only ones in the universe. We got to visit two waterfalls within only 15 mns from each other.

Weekend trip
I came here for my birthday to relax and be away from home. The only thing i can say is i loved it. I love being here so much to the point where i didn’t want to go back home thats how amazing the atmosphere the location and the place was. Walking in to the cabin i felt at home where anytime me and my Girlfriend went out to helen and walk and shop or even the store and get groceries to cook for that night. It was never lets go back to the cabin or the place it was always lets go back home. That shows how welcoming and how amazing it was to stay here.

Wouldn’t stay again
The location was great and the cabin was clean. It was a bit damp and musky inside. The hot tub does not work. If you turn the temp up to 104 degrees, it gets luke warm. We decided to try the jacuzzi tub inside, but that didn’t work either.

Quiet Stay
The cabin was cozy and in the woods, no "views" so don't expect it from the porch. We enjoyed grilling out, watching tv, relaxing and going into Helen to shop. If you have a dog that needs to be walked - watch out for bears. This particular cabin has a paved very steep drive with a huge crater on the left side so stay to the right going down. There is a gravel road also - was muddy so we avoided it. Indoor jacuzzi tub was nice, worked well. Good shower - great water pressure Outdoor hot tub was good, is noisy when it cycles. Hint - circuit breaker in the closet if it gets to annoying.

Vacasa
Cabin was clean and tidy. Lovely screen porch. Pet friendly, but no real place for dog to potty outside. Driveway is short and very steep.. not for faint heart.
Horrible customer service.. we reported jaccuzi and hot tub not working. Lisa assured us it would be taken care of first thing tomorrow. No one came. Lisa ignored our texts and phone messages.
Use VACASA at your own risk, obviously we won’t ever return.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and it was a great place for us and our pup to relax. It had all the amenities that we needed. It was in close proximity to Helen and hiking. The neighborhood has several cabins in the area but we did not feel like they were on top of us. The hole in the drive that others pointed out has been patched. Our one issue was the screen on the fireplace. It really needs to be replaced as it is not safe. The screen will not close completely to avoid any sparks flying out. The dresser in the bedroom needs to be replaced as well as two of the three drawers are broken. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
