"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. "A comfortable clean compact cottage in an incredible location close to Hartland Quay and Hartland Point, the only minor issue being the sharp entry and exit to and from the drive. The cottage being upside down with the living area on the first floor and bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor is well equipped kitchen wise and an enormous double bed and dog friendly.Overall a very pleasant comfortable and welcoming cottage."

Top Saunton Hotel Reviews

The Royal & Fortescue

10/10 Excellent

"Great staff and always a favourite place to stay when in the area"

The Royal Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We spent three nights here in what was a late booking for a break. We were very pleased that we did. The hotel is full of character and the staff all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was big and the bed very comfortable. The food was very good with a good selection continental breakfast available as well as several other choices including English breakfast. The evening menu provided us with good choices too. Parking was available. A small car park for about 12-15 cars opposite the hotel. There was also an "overflow" available which was left at the hotel up the hill. They also had a quiet room on the first floor for relaxation purposes should you felt you needed somewhere else to go other than your room. In conclusion we would have no hesitation at all about staying there again. Lovely."
