  • An exceptional location for this apartment with a view of the Loire, a stone's throw from Place St Pierre and the castle, as well as all the amenities (shops, restaurants, bike rentals, nautical activities, etc.). Spacious and comfortable, it is equipped to accommodate 2 people. You will appreciate the quality of new bedding and the neat decoration.
    Ideally located for visiting the Loire castles: Saumur, Brézé, Azay-le-Rideau and many others. The Loire by bike is at the foot of the building. Location, location, location! Very old part of the city and some areas around are not in good shape! The apartment does not have internet but is otherwise well equipped. The view of the Loire out the front windows is lovely. Nice to watch the boats go by. If elderly with lots of luggage, this apartment is not for you! Very old narrow winding staircase to the apartment on the top floor! The proprietor is lovely and very helpful!!!

Logement tel que décrit et présenté belle vue sur la Loire. L'escalier (plus de 50 marches) pourrait représenter un enjeux pour certaines personnes, et devrait être mentionnée. Le stationnement est contingenté, mais accessible tout de même... Si on accepte de marcher un peu. Une deuxième clef aurait été appréciée. Près des services et du château, beau séjour. Difficulté de communication due à des problèmes chez VRBO.

C'est un petit appartement très lumineux, fonctionnel et très bien situé (face à la Loire et proche du centre) . Il n'y a pas de volets . Heureusement que la canicule était passée car le soleil entre l'après-midi. Par contre, pour y accéder, il faut monter les 53 marches d'un vieil escalier . C'est fatigant pour certaines personnes comme nous. Malgré ces défauts, je recommande cet appartement.

Arrivée un peu loupée, souci de communication téléphonique. L"appartement est grand, très clair,décoré avec soin. 2 points negatifs, le 1er, on y accède par un escalier en bois très ancien qui comporte 5 paliers soit 53 marches. Le 2 ème pas de rideau aux fenêtres pour protéger de la chaleur, les rideaux de la chambre sont très beaux mais inefficaces pour filtrer la lumiere du jour (reveil par le soleil entre 6h et 6h30) .literie de bonne qualité. Plaque vitro montée à l'envers ce qui n'est pas pratique et un peu dangereux (risque de brulure) et les prises de courant à revoir. Panorama magnifique, immeuble calme .

Séjour de 3 nuits dans un très joli appartement très bien agencé et décoré avec goût.Accueil très sympathique lors de notre arrivée et bonnes adresses pour repas et marchés.Très belle vue sur la Loire et proche de nombreux villages à visiter.Saumur est une ville très agréable.Petit nota : il faudrait préciser que l'escalier d'accès à l'appartement est très pentu .... difficile suivant l'âge du locataire. Mais franchement ça vaut le coût de grimper et d'être au calme.Merci pour cette prestation

The apartment is in an old building but is furnished simply but stylish and has everything needed for a short stay. The view is stunning across the river and the parking is free.David our host gave us good information and excellent restaurant recommendations.
