"A lovely "getaway from it all" location. Sweet little gite, a bit basic (not luxury) but had everything we needed and more, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Owner was very responsive. Village is very quiet and it's a few minutes drive to the nearest town for shops and restaurants. Not a very touristy area which we loved, but only about an hours drive to Rouen, Amiens, Monet's garden (all of which were busy)."

"Nice small studio but with some issues. Quite a few flies inside when I arrived. This is probably because it's on a farm with sheep. Found several long hairs in bathroom and on dining table which is gross. Bedsheet was rough stretchy material. No soap on arrival and I had to request it from the host. This sort of basic thing being overlooked is really not acceptable. The exterior photos do not reflect that a second guest property, called the Naisonette has been constructed next to this...

"Décoré avec goût c’est un vrai petit paradis . Nous étions là pour un mariage nous n’avons pas pu profiter pleinement du lieu mais le peu de temps passé sur place fut un bonheur . Très bonne literie , très grand jardin où nous avons pu vie rôder un lapin et un chat trop mignon ! "This hotel was a very lucky find! So much so that we have re booked for our journey back to Calais. Very dog friendly & good areas out of the back of the hotel for late night/ early morning exercise etc. Staff were so accommodating & in particular the Manager helped me make calls to other hotels we were due to stay in to confirm/cancel stays. Couldn’t ask for better plus, evening meal was excellent!! Many thanks! X"

"We stayed as an extended family of 14. Grand parents on the ground floor as they are less mobile however just to be clear there is no en suite and there are two separate steps down to the nearest bathroom - which is very close to the bedroom. That said the grand parents gave their review as 10 out of 10. Other rooms in the main house offered plenty of space and necessary furniture etc. we also used the annex which worked well. Pool was lovely, gardens were lovely, cool, peaceful and private. The outside sitting area was perfect - secluded and sheltered. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn’t want for anything. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. The oven was large and could easily cater for a large group. The fridge could have been a little more efficient/cooler but it worked hard!Nearby Saint Saens was lovely. We walked and cycled around the area. Loved all the chalk streams running through nearby villages. Perfect to visit Rouen and also the north coast beaches for a swim in the sea. Overall we would recommend it as an excellent base to visit neighbouring communities or simply to hunker down and enjoy the peace and serenity of the house, buildings and garden. We enjoyed playing petanque too. Kate was super- attentive, helpful and nearby if needed. Thank you. Would we stay again…?? YES!"
