Cozy Waterfront Home

We were only here for a few days but we really enjoyed our stay. Gorgeous water views out the back window wall, cozy furnishings, stocked kitchen, everything as advertised

Peaceful getaway

This home was great for our family group of 5 adults and our dog. We enjoyed the sun filled living room with views of the creek and spent hours kayaking, walking and exploring the neighborhood. The town is charming and has interesting stores and good restaurants. The home is well maintained, very cute and had everything we needed, including all the kitchen basics which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again! It should be noted that if you have mobility issues there is a staircase up to the living space and that access to the creek is down a fairly steep grassy bank.

Paddler’s Dream

My two children, 13 and 11, and I kayaked all over the Esopus and found a couple beaches with streams and trail in the Esopus Bend Nature Preserve. Def need water shoes! Birds of prey, ducks, deer, tons of bird species, animal tracks on the trail etc. Gorgeous views and smell of pine trees. My son caught fish. We paddle boarded with I Paddle NY right in town. We ate excellent food at Miss Lucy’s, Slices (grandma pizza delish) and Buns (lamb burger also delish and shakes!). Some fun shops in town especially if you love antiques. We love Saugerties! House was adorable and had everything we needed. Easy to reach. Sitting on the couch with a cup of tea every morning with a great view of the creek was so peaceful.
