Tucked into the trees with picturesque views of the Kalamazoo River, Lookout Lodge is a truly one-of-a-kind getaway. Located on quiet Park Street, you’re within walking distance to Mt. Baldhead Park and just a five-minute drive to Oval Beach. Downtown Douglas and Saugatuck are also just minutes away, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience.

Spread across three spacious stories, the home provides plenty of room for your whole group to relax and enjoy the stunning river views. The main level features an open kitchen flowing into a large living room, with a classic dining room surrounded by windows just off the living area. French doors open from both the main and lower living rooms, creating inviting outdoor spaces where you can unwind and take in the scenery.

The lower level includes two bedrooms, with a master featuring a queen bed and a second room with a twin-over-full bunk bed, along with a full bathroom. On the top level, the second bedroom offers two queen beds and space for a pack ’n play, making it ideal for families.

Sweet Treetop Cottage

This is a cozy spot with easy access to Mt. Baldhead and Chain Ferry. We enjoyed the cute porch to relax.

Overall great experience and location. A larger supply of towels and pillows would have been nice to have. Also the limited space in the dishwasher made things a little more difficult for a group of 8 people. Overall would rent again.

Great location, clean

They were able to get us in a little early, which I appreciated considering it was a busy weekend for the town. The place was nicer than expected and very clean. Only downside was that the refrigerator did not keep anything cold and we were left with spoiled food. The host was not great at getting back to us as I had submitted the fridge issue early on Saturday. The bunk bed in the basement area was a little bit unstable & the bed in the attic did not have a top sheet. Overall stay was enjoyable minus those few challenges.

Too many issues with the property which require more than just a good cleaning. The area, however, is quite lovely.

Neat, clean and well equipped, more parking and master privacy needed

The home was very neat and clean and the kitchen was the most well equipped we have ever rented. More parking is needed since there was parking for only 2 cars. The full glass entry doors to the master bedroom and shared master bath lacked privacy. The blinds did not cover the glass and were installed on the outside of the doors. A second recycle bin is needed since that is picked up only once a month
