"We stayed in room #5. The room was very nice and had a view of the building next door that was covered in English Ivy. We loved seeing all of the birds darting in and out of the Ivy! The only thing I would change in this room would be the location of the wall mounted hair dryer in the bathroom. The location made using the sink a bit awkward."

"Quaint motel very well upkept. Has a classic Americana / Route 66 feel but it's near Lake Michigan. Multiple fire pits, grills, play area, and quiet!! Highly recommend. "

"It is a well designed house and easy to use. However most things were covered with dust like it was the first rental of the year. The coffee pot overflowed each time we used it. The bathroom sink stopper was broken, the TP holder was gone, the pocket door pull was unscrewed, the lamps beside the bed were unplugged and the bed was too heavy for us to find an outlet. We were surprised that art galleries and restaurants were not open during Tulip Week. You did send someone out quickly to fix some of the items."

"It was a great place to stay with our child and their partner. Living room area was comfortable. It could have used a little more counter space in the kitchen. Bathroom was clean and spacious. The huge windows were lovely "

"Room was very clean and smelled sanitized; in general that's a plus but I'm sensitive to smells and would have rather had more of a fresh air smell. The bed was comfortable and the shower had enough warm water. Look carefully at the photos because that is exactly what's there. It's a small room with a modern minimalist gray/black vibe, and minimal lighting - only a lamp on the very small table and a lamp on one side of the bed. It was fine for sleeping, but we would have preferred brighter light bulbs and at least another light on the other side of the room for reading in bed and reading labels to use the microwave. The tile floors in the bathroom and the shower were very slippery when wet. It was impossible to wash at the small sink without getting water on the floor, and of course the shower base got wet during a shower, so bring rubber flip flops or something to stay safe in the shower. Although this property is right on the main highway, it was very quiet inside. The location is great - convenient to get to beautiful beaches along Lake Michigan and a 20 minute drive to the Holland Tulip Festival which was why we were there. We have no complaints about communication with the host; we didn't need anything other than the automated messages we received."
