"The Belvedere Estate was a beautiful building and the grounds were very nicely kept but I would not recommend the Abbey Room. The mattress was very uncomfortable and felt like you were sleeping on springs, definitely not a refreshing weekend of sleep. The room was incredibly hot - the estate has AC, but with the home being older, no cold air was coming out of our vents and windows barely opened to allow for air flow. "Dee greeted me with a friendly smile and happily granted my request to check in 2 hours early. The room was nice and had good quality amenities for hand soap, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There were the appropriate amount of towels for their number of us checking in to the room. The shower spray was very nice but it was over a Jacuzzi tub which is pretty high for some people to step over to get into the shower or tub. I did not like the motion light for the bathroom . It is quite bright and bothersome for the rest of the people sleeping in the room when someone gets up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The breakfast was much more than a continental breakfast. There was ample parking. The hotel has a heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi as well as a small exercise room. We did not make use of these amenities."
