Great place

Love mountain resort. Great location, great beach, nice and quite great staff, great breakfast and the views are to do die for. We are booking to come back next year.

Great Hospitality

The room is spacious and clean. Great breakfast with lots of varieties. The beach was clean and water is very clear. Hotel provide shuttle service for port transfer, to walking street. Wonderful service for our stay and experience, definitely will come back again. It is situated at mountain hill, expected mosquito, spraying with mosquito repellent qill solve the problem.

Nice hotel, really well located right next to a beautiful beach. There is a shuttle bus that goes back and forth to walking street in the evening but it is also a reasonably short walk if you ware able or taxi for 50 baht per person. The bungalows were peaceful and nice to sit out on and the pool was really quiet and fab place to relax for a day. The breakfast is amazing but be warned they are very strict on not taking away. The beach is maybe a little resorty for my taste and also bars and food very expensive for Thailand, but still very beautiful and you can walk along to a bit more laid back area. Ko Lipe is worth a visit as it is so beautiful but probably a little small for all the people that are visiting. Price of tourisim i'm sorry to say. Maybe slightly off season may be better.

Comfortable with great views ..

Excellent , friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort - some have limited English but it’s Thailand ! Room was comfortable enough with an excellent bed (best of our multi stay trip by far) and super efficient air conditioning. Fixtures and fitting of the room were tired with a toilet seat on its last legs and a sink tap that was hanging on for dear life. Water pressure was good and toiletries , towels etc that were provided were very good . Due to the proliferation of water around the resort we had difficulties with mosquitoes in the bathroom - despite there being screens on the window they managed to get in somehow - potentially through the drains - bring repellent. Good extensive breakfast with excellent coffee and even better views . Beach is wonderful with ample deckchairs and the snorkelling is spectacular just off the beach with no need for a boat trip..Pay for a sea view and you can look at it any time you want! Pool was beautiful with plenty of beds (not that we used it because of the beach) Shuttle bus in the evening to Walking Street runs every 15 mins from 6pm to 10pm and is a brilliant service . Only real word of warning would be that the resort would be difficult for anyone with walking issues - the clue is in the name - lots of steps …

We stayed for 11 nights. We had a delux garden room. The room was basic but clean and tidy. Air conditioning and WiFi worked great. The view from the room of the sunset was amazing. The hotel breakfast was great with a large choice for everyone. The view from the breakfast area is exceptional. The beach is beautiful white sand a clear waters. The pick up from the ferry and shuttle to walking street worked really well. Value for money it was a great hotel in a stunning location we will definitely return.

Unsere Unterkunft (Deluxe Grand Villa) liegt an einer ruhigen Stelle. Den Strand kann man gut erreichen (Treppe!). Einen Tranfer am Abend vom Hotel zur Walking street wird auch angeboten, klasse! Ein wenig störend fanden wir das etwas rostige Wasser - hat unsere Badesachen rostbraun verfärbt (bringt man aber nach dem Waschen mit sauberem Wasser fast wieder weg! Also halb so schlimm ;) )

I dont recommend this property all, reason is bathroom is open and due to that lizard, mosquitos always there and infact lizard came inside. Room doesnt give luxury feel at all and very basic in nature. AC was not effective and when I asked staff to change room with working AC, they said I will have to pay what a nonsense approach. The only benefit is, its walking distance from the best besch of Koh Lipe.

The room is good but the bathroom is really basic and would benefit from an upgrade. It is a quiet beach and place but it is a good walk, uphill from the main street. Not much shadow so can be chalenging in a hot day. But the view for the breakfast was amazing. And so many choices, fruit, bread and pastry, eggs or omelet on demand, several curry and asian breakfast. A lot of stairs to get to the beach too but amazin place to chill. Not a great spot for snorkeling. If its your thing, go on the beach right in front of idilyc concept resort. Best spot on the iland.

Lovely resort

Lovely resort. Fantastic swimming pool. Beautiful beach with great snorkelling. Buffet breakfast is varied & plentiful. Friendly staff. Not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Fint og hyggeligt hotel

Overordnet et fint og hyggeligt hotel. Servicen var rigtig god og personalet meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Rengøringen var også fin, dog mærkeligt tidspunkt der altid blev gjort rent (efter kl. 15.00), så da vi den ene dag havde været på tur fra tidlig morgen og netop kom tilbage til hotellet omkring kl. 15 og var på værelset halvanden time, blev der denne dag ikke gjort rent, og vi måtte gå i receptionen og spørge efter håndklæder og toiletpapir. Værelserne er meget slidte og kunne godt trænge til en lettere renovering, dog er sengen god og sengetøj og håndklæder rene og pletfrie. Vi blev også lidt overrasket over at i vores familie bungalow var værelserne i hver sin etage og egentlig to seperate værelser. Rigtig fint og hyggeligt pool område. Hotellet ligger ved den bedste strand, dog langt fra alt andet.

Magisk utsikt från hotellet

Hotellet var bra. Enkel standard. Inget för dig som har problem med trappor och sluttande miljöer. Magisk utsikt från hotellet över havet. Mycket bra frukost och baren/ restaurang var toppen på stranden.

Only nice view

Very poor service. We had to pay cash everywhere. Shuttleservice to Walking Street but the bus was overloaded every time. Breakfast suited for the 90% Chinese. Stonehard beds and pillows. And when a friend asked for an extra blanket to soften the bed they wanted 400 Bahts. No boatservice to mainland. And behind all hotels you find endless garbage and plastic. Picked up lots of glass on the beach.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however the property is somewhat run down and needs better maintenance, ie. Rusty fixtures and loose faucets in bathrooms, peeling paint, broken door locks.

Bra rum, bra lägre, bra frukost, mycket bra med fri transfer in till Walking Street, trevlig strandrestaurang och gratis solstolar på stranden Det som inte var bra var badrummet, trasig toalettstol, ingrott och behöver renoveras där kackerlackor mm krupit in under toalettskåp och visade sig ibland.

Beautiful place

Hotellet har den smukkeste udsigt og dejlig rummelige værelser, med en kæmpe terrasse. Hvis man har baby med (som vi havde), kan de dog falde ud da der er store mellemrum i gelænderet. Fjernsynet virkede ikke for os, og airconditionen var helt umulig at styre. Poolen er stor og skøn og stranden vil jeg vove og påstå er markant bedre end Sunrise, for den ligger lidt som en lagune så vandet er roligt og krystalklart med eget rev, og ingen både der forstyrrer. Men man skal være glad for at gå og ‘klatre’. Man bor på siden af et bjerg, og det besværliggører det at komme til stranden. Men så får man da dagens motion.

The hotel is located close to a very nice beach but it's far from the walking street. Note that you must walk and up an down a steep set of steps to access the beach so if you have mobility issues do not stay here. Front desk staff hardly speak any English so communication was a struggle. Rooms are spacious but very old. If you're looking for a modern hotel I wouldn't stay here. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The furniture is old and bathroom and hotel tiles are ugly and tacky.

1:st time to Lipe

Really nice located at the Sunset Beach. And, yes it’s a hillside so be prepared for that. The breakfast was really nice. Lots of different things to eat.
