"Peaceful, heavenly, quiet. Perfect for relaxing and staying curled up in the hot tub, on the swing, and together on the couch listening to the creek and rain. Very well stocked kitchen for cooking. Loved that everything was well labeled and easy to find. BLISS"

"The river house is great. The creek runs just a hundred yards away from the house. The creek was the highlight for my elementary age kids. There is a fire pit for s’mores next to the creek, it is shallow and slow enough for littles, it was cool and refreshing on a summer day, and we probably spent half of our time there. The house is also not far from sea creek falls and preacher rock on the Appalachian trail-making those easy to get to and enjoy. The Mountain Views, creek sounds, and wildlife watching were great. The house had plenty of room for my family of 5. The beds were clean and comfy. Someone expressed concern about the dirt/gravel road leading from the highway to the house. But, our minivan did not have trouble. The only negatives were minor: there was not internet available during our stay and it was not able to be addressed until after our stay. It was not a big deal since we came to disconnect, but still wanted to be able to reach family by phone and look up locations of local attractions. The host was helpful and provided directions when we inquired at the store a few minutes away. The other negative was cleanliness. Most of the home was clean enough. But we found several dead bugs on sills and in corners of the rooms. Maybe to be expected in the woods. It didn’t affect our stay, but was worth noting. Overall a great stay!"
