Search Sas-Slijkens hotels

The best time to visit Sas-Slijkens is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and pleasant.

During this period, you'll find the most sunshine and the least chance of rain, making it ideal for exploring the coastal areas and enjoying outdoor activities. The average temperatures hover around 20-22°C (68-72°F), which is comfortable for sightseeing and spending time by the water.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will appreciate the longer daylight hours, great for leisurely strolls along the beach or enjoying an evening meal at a waterside restaurant. The summer also sees various local events and markets, adding to the holiday feel.

Families will find the summer particularly appealing due to the warmer sea temperatures, making swimming and playing on the beach more enjoyable for children. Many local attractions, such as the nearby nature reserves and historical sites, are fully operational with extended hours during these months.

If you prefer a quieter experience with fewer crowds but still pleasant weather, late spring (May) or early autumn (September) are also good options.
