Sarlat Great Experience

This was a great stay for our family, the property gave us what we were looking for a time to relax, a great home base to survey the region which translate into a great location, the property had all the amenities you need specially when you are traveling with children, in sum we had a terrific time, thanks Brigitte!

Very well appointed house

This is a beautiful house with 5 bedrooms and 2 kitchens it can obviously be divided into 2 smaller houses but our two families had the entire house. The kitchens are extremely well equipped and we liked that there were some things in the cupboard like coffee and salt and herbs along with dishwasher tablets and hand soap. The only downside was that there was one A/C unit that plugged into the hall and was not very effective, the upstairs bedrooms beside the kitchen were unbearably warm with temperatures through the night around 26°C, there were fans in the 2 larger bedrooms. However Brigitte and Fabrice were very good hosts, and the house and pool are amazing, they even bought new pool noodles for our teenagers. The pool area is fantastic and very clean and the loungers are very comfortable. The outside areas and bbq were great and the table tennis was a big hit. The town is a short drive away, it is quite a steep road and not suitable for walking to town, but there are so many sites within a 30 minute drive, we had an amazing holiday.

Beautiful villa in hills above Sarlat

The villa, grounds and pool were fabulous and equipped with everything we needed. Amazing setting in hills overlooking Sarlat. Our hosts were lovely, although their English and our French both limited we managed to understand all the instructions and converse ok. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Fantastische locatie en verblijf. Kan eigenlijk niet beter. We waren met 10 personen en één hond. Iedereen had voldoende ruimte. De eigenaren waren zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. Zelfs de hond (een barbet) heeft het reuze naar haar zin gehad. De poes en de geiten deden daar vrolijk aan mee. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Maison très agréable où il fait bon y vivre d autant plus lorsque que la température est aux environs des 35 degrés … très belles plantations de fleurs et d arbres accueillants une piscine bien isolée … Brigitte et son mari passent tous les jours très discrètement pour s occuper du nettoyage (piscine) et arrosage de la végétation.. belle région .. nous sommes satisfaits de ces quelques jours .. à recommander….

Très beau Gîte

Belle ville de Sarlat à visiter, beaux paysages, Gite très propre et moderne en équipements. salle à manger un peu juste pour 9 personnes, nécessité d'utiliser une chaise de la terrasse, idem au salon où nous devions ajouter des chaises pour y être tous réunis.

Villa vaste et agréable. Situation parfaite bien isolée mais avec une grande surface à 7 minutes. Équipements nombreux et en très bon état (salles de bain, literie, wifi, piscine). Propreté parfaite.

Superbe maison sur les hauteurs de Sarlat

Nous étions 4 couples d'amis avec pour chacun une belle chambre, 3 salles d'eau avec WC. Nous avons profité de la grande cuisine et surtout du beau jardin. Il ne faisait, malheureusement, pas assez chaud pour oser se baigner. Mais, la piscine est très belle ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison.

Retour en Dordogne

TROP BIEN

Superbe week-end à Sarlat avec nos enfants et petit enfant. Hôtes très accueillants ; aucun soucis. Villa très propre ; nous vous conseillons donc "LA VILLA DES HAUTS DE SARLAT". Le seul dommage est que nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine comme nous aurions voulu, car temps médiocre, mais nous reviendrons ...
