"Great central location. Friendly, helpful proprietor. Spacious clean room. Would be nice to have a sheet on the bed in addition to duvet in case duvet is too warm (which it was even in spring). A bit tricky dropping off and picking up luggage as many central streets are closed to traffic. Would recommend!"

"Hotel is in an excellent location with paid parking directly outside. The rooms were clean, fairly well equipped, and looked to have been recently renovated. Bedding and pillows were comfortable, although not luxury. Everything is within easy walking distance. There is a very basic bar on site, although it was fairly quiet during our stay, possibly due to travelling in shoulder season. Staff were friendly and courteous, even advising us that the nearby public car park would be free overnight on Sunday rather than paying for hotel parking, which was appreciated. Overall, very good value for money and a pleasant stay."

"Perfectly situated in town, close to everything. The staff was incredibly helpful. They helped me with substituting a pillow and I slept like a dream after that. The breakfast provided is delicious! Highly recommend this place."

"Charming stay in converted attic with delightful view of ancient town of Sarlat. Property owner used inexpensive materials in renovation. Would have been a bit nicer if quality of appliances, decor had been of a higher quality. But the view alone was worth the price of room."
