RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #250 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kitchen table is too high, not beg enough. Only two chairs which are very difficult to get in/out of. Kitchen supplies are really bad. Bed is too high as well. Great view but that's about all it has going for it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Silver Sands looks exactly like the photos. Everything was clean. The only complaint I would have is that the shower curtain liner was dirty, which is so gross. A new liner should be put up after each guest. The bathroom looks new and was very clean except for the shower liner. The bed and pillow were ok. The kitchen is stocked with enough for a small family or a couple people. The view is perfect. It is a bit of a walk for someone that may not be in the best of shape to get to the room as it's located all the way in the back and up a flight of stairs. The pool looked great, unfortunately due to a tropical storm it was closed. Plenty of beach chairs available. I would return.

Awesome view

Very friendly at the front desk, supply beach towels, there are chairs but not a lot, we brought our own and glad we did. Pool is nice, porch was screened in which does distort view some. Overall, great stay and would come back. No elevator, that I noticed anyway, so if you aren’t great with stairs and carrying luggage up keep that in mind.
