It was an excellent location with beach access that was basically private. Very few people even on days when the public beach was super packed. The resort had umbrellas and wagons for use and it was only a few steps from our room to the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice room with everything needed for your stay. Love the decor, mermaid theme and bed was comfortable. There were enough towels for our stay and it was helpful to have beach towels provided. Room was clean and the AC worked well. Resort was clean and well kept. Pool was lovely and the rinse stations coming off of the beach were put to good use. It was helpful to have a wagon to bring luggage from the parking area to the room. I think that having chairs and umbrellas to use on the beach is wonderful and convenient, but the one recommendation would be to have someone take charge of them every day. At a previous resort we stayed at they were taken down to the beach every morning and set up with an umbrella and brought back in the evening. But here they are kept at the beach entrance and other visitors didn’t always put them back or remove their towels etc. Therefore there were sandy loungers laying wherever. Otherwise the beach was lovely. We would recommend this resort and room which is perfect for 2 people.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great! The property was well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue was the bed was quite flimsy and uncomfortable. There were no chairs or table. The room was small as an efficiency, so I understand that but perhaps add 2 folding chairs and/or two folding trays. One of us had to sit on the bed to eat and the other sat on the chair and we had to use the counter as a table. Overall it was a great experience, just a minor inconvenience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful location on LBK. Beach and water are beautiful! Pool area at resort is clean and basic and just steps from the beach. We were in one of the smaller motel like rooms. There are 3 main issues with this rooms 1.there is no sink to go with the kitchenette! You have to use the bathroom sink, which seemed quite unsanitary, we were glad we only booked 3 days due to this! 2. It is Very dark! Even if you open a window, no light ( the view is of hedgerows) 3. There is one chair in the room. The bed could be moved over several inches and a small table and chair could be added, which would have been very convenient. Overall I would stay at the resort again, but NOT in the motel type room. Front desk staff was very friendly and the resort was clean overall.

We loved everything about Silver Sands. The gentleman at the front office was extremely nice, helpful. Short walk onto the sand, beach chairs all set up on beach, umbrellas convenient to take, faucet to rinse feet after. The beach was quaint….not a lot of people, no crowds. Gorgeous sunsets.

I was a little nervous when I saw some of the recent reviews saying the room wasn’t clean, but honestly this place was so nice! It’s not a brand new resort or anything, but if you’re just looking for a relaxing stay at the beach, this place is perfect! One review said there was mold in the shower, there’s not…the grout is just a little discolored and older, but it’s perfectly fine. I will definitely go back and rebook this resort again someday. The pool was really nice and I love that they provide beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles, etc., it made relaxing by the water so much more comfortable!

We've stayed at Silver Sands many, many times. This was the first time we rented the "motel room", which was ok, but I would not to that again! We normally rent a one bedroom unit, which is always perfect. But because we booked so late everything else was rented. But would highly recommend Silver Sands. Always totally satisfied.
