I liked that the apartment was near old town, however it's up a steep hill, and the streets are very narrow (if you're driving). Be warned! The owner was communicative, however left out an important part of how to use the key fob to get in the building. Everything else was straightforward, for accessing the key. The view from the balcony was great-- looking up at (what I think was) Trebevic mountain. Unfortunately, we didn't use the roof, since it was chilly out (mid-October). The layout was a bit unusual, and I think some bedside tables would be helpful. Also the toilet seat didn't fit the toilet, but aside from these picky things, the apartment worked out fine. Be aware that if you choose on-site, you'll be asked to pay in cash. I didn't have the cash, so I was then given a payment link, but it felt a bit unsettling. I'd suggest just paying through Expedia.
