This hotel is stone throw away from Center of the Old Town Sarajevo. You are in the city in 2 minutes. Hotel is quiet, staff is super friendly and helpful. However, do not expect 5 star hotel. You get a small room, very nice homemade breakfast, but if you are in Sarajevo to explore and sight see - that is all you need. Ask them to make you Bosnian coffee with breakfast.

Great location, close to old town however hotel is on top of a steep hill when walking back from town. Nice views since it's up on a hill. Rooms were a bit outdated however comfortbale. Staff were super helpful and nice.

Fantastic value for money in the heart of Sarajevo. Hotel Herc is just minutes from the Sebilj Fountain and Baščaršija, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, local eateries, and bars. ​The rooms are exceptionally clean, tidy, and come equipped with great amenities like fast Wi-Fi and premium bedding. What really makes this place special, though, is the warmth of the hospitality—the front desk staff treat you like family. Secure parking on-site gave us total peace of mind. Highly recommended for groups, families, or couples visiting Bosnia!

It's a very nice, cozy place to stay! Front desk manager Ilma was outstanding, helpful, and provided the best service ever! If you stay there, ask her for restaurant recommendations, she knows everything about the city and the best places!

Perfect

Very good value for money and extremely friendly and accommodating hosts and staff. They made sure that the room was ready for our slightly early arrival and twice started breakfast early for us because of trips. The location is only 5 minutes walk from the City Hall and river. Don’t be put off by the hill as it is very quick to get down and worth it in the evening for the views. There’s an excellent restaurant at the base called Inat Kuca.

The hotel is quite okay, nothing special. The air conditioning worked well. The fridge was useful however no kettle in the room which is inconvenient. The room was very small too, if you have bigger suitcases that’s not comfortable. Also you need to climb up to get to the hotel.
