The hotel was very clean, very new on the interior and very hospitable. They allowed us to even eat breakfast late.
The location is prefect located about a 2 minute walk from the old town.
We arrived and were given a room next to the lobby. It was SO loud, our room also didn’t have windows. The only windows we were given were windows that look into the restaurant!??!?! WHO does that???? Then after 3 nights of no sleep from the noises of the lobby, restaurant, and construction we kindly asked to be moved to another room. The lady at reception told us that she can’t do anything about lobby noise or construction that starts exactly at 9 am every day and lobby noise at 4:30 am to prep breakfast but she did move us to a “nicer room.” We get upstairs, and we get a window finally! Then we leave for the day and come back and oh my goodness the STENCH. We have no idea what the stench came from but our entire suitcases of clothes stink - STILL. Just a terrible experience but the staff was very nice. Except on last day. When we checked out we kindly asked for them to call a cab. The guy at reception called his “buddy” instead of a cab and when the car arrived there was no marking that it was a taxi. Then he proceeded to tell us it will cost 30 marks. We had no option and luckily still had marks on us. If you’re wondering how much it usually costs from hotel Libris to Airport - it’s not more than 15 marks. This place is corrupt don’t stay here.
Great little hotel very close to old town. We were able to park at the front so convenient to leave car there for our three nights and walk everywhere. Quick checkin and staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. The room was large so was great and fridge and jug as well as aircon. You can lock up your valuables in reception but we found the place very safe. Lots of eateries around and can take tram to other areas if you don’t want to walk. Breakfast great and fresh, and the best Bosnian coffee every morning. Absolutely would stay here again. Great price for our three nights as well.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Modernes Hotel direkt an der Altstadt.
Nettes Personal!
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff were brilliant and so pleasant. Room was very spacious and comfortable and we would go back. Excellent location next to the old town.
We stayed at Hotel Libris Boutique for five nights and overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located a short walk outside of the old city and is newly renovated. The staff are extremely friendly/helpful and the breakfast buffet is a generous spread.
Only negetive is that our room was next to the lobby and we could hear every discussion taking place just outside our door, as well as smell cigarettes when someone was smoking in the dining room.
