This place was a wonderful place to stay the host Gary is incredible. The house was very clean and only a short mile to the trail system down the road looks like very nice neighborhood wasn't worried about anything what do ever. Has everything you need at the house including firewood bathroom utensils and all other necessities.i would definitely think about staying there again and if you are looking and pick this place you won't be sorry!
The house was really amazing and the owner was the best and very good communication skills. The house had everything that you could possibly think of and more. The location was great and easy to access to multiple trails and museum. I would highly recommend and suggest you check it out and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I loved waking up in the morning and listening to the creek right in the back yard and also sitting out front and listening. I will be back again next year and would love to stay here again.

Its a cozy place. I was able to easily park a truck and trailer. Listening to the crackle of a fire alongside a creek just reminds me of being a kid. I loved every minute of it. Definitely recommend.
Highly recommend staying at the mama bear den. Beautiful house and perfect for a group. We drove from south dakota and felt right at home. Gary is an outstanding host and we will definitely be back to stay again.
We stayed here while riding the Hatfield and McCoy trails, and it was absolutely perfect! The place was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone in our group to relax after a long day of riding. It was exactly what we needed—comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but work called us back. Highly recommend for anyone planning a trail trip in West Virginia! We will be back to stay again!
