"Property was in a great location, clean, welcoming, and a bargain. Slightly difficult to find the first time then was easy sailing. Communication from host was top notch. Only difficulty i experienced was adjusting to the height of ceilings. I struck my head routinely on the sloped ceilings, between rooms, and especially bathroom. I am approximately 71.5 inches/182cm for reference. My daughter at 63 inches/160cm was fine. All in all we enjoyed our stay!"

"The place is very centrally located and very spacious. The host was extremely accommodating and very communicative. My only suggestion would be to rent a very small car. The offsite parking is extremely tight and requires a bit of flexibility to get in and out."

The villa is located in a very quiet area, the stay was in perfect peace (the occasional and distant dog barking is not disturbing at all and the neighbors' dogs are completely calm). It's almost a miracle that the villa is also a few minutes drive from the centre of Funchal, also a large supermarket with groceries, meat, fish and everything you need and also a great starting point for any trip.
