However, the bed sheets weren’t changed during my stay despite what was mentioned in the description, and there was no toaster or iron. The window couldn’t be opened, so the room felt a bit dark in the mornings. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach but beware the hotel is situated on quite a steep hill, going down is fine but I can't say the same for going back up. There are many shops local which is great for g stocking up the spacious cupboards in the hotel room. Opposite the hotel is a 24hr snack hub. Snacks ranging from crisps and chocolates to burgers. "Advertised as having a private beach but there is no access to the beach. I thought it was storm damage but I was told there was never a private beach with assess. Otherwise beautiful hotel. And the pool was delightful but no useable beach,"

"Touring Portugal with my elderly mother is difficult with all the cobblestone roads but this hotel was kind enough to loan us a wheelchair to help make it easier for us to explore nearby places. Do not leave without doing one of the boat tours. The smaller the better to go into the caves!"
