"The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Dinner was okay. The front desk was very nice specially Diogo. However the facility is a bit dated. Overall a nice stay and conveniently close to the cruise port. "

"Fantastic breakfast buffet, glorious views from the Junior Suite. Ventilation in the room was poor though - the Aircon was a little underpowered. The beds were huge, but provide little back support. Wonderful location, perfect for both relaxing holidays and hiking holidays. I will return one day."

The pool and rooftop were an excellent amenity and the location was central to everything by the water and beautiful gardens. "Lovely atmosphere without any kids. The hotel was fully booked but didn't feel crowded. The deluxe room was worth it - lovely coffee from the coffee machine and a little bar/fridge & robes. The location was a short way uphill out of the town but in a nice area and not a long walk for anyone with reasonable fitness, There were plenty of buses. You could walk downhill to a bus stop and get off further uphill on the way back. There was also a hotel minibus into the town. We had a great stay! "
